try find items which have "reduce level requirement" .. some lvl 60 item reduce.. to level 54, 55, 56 also can use..
and with quite good damage ... purchase that to tahan until u lvl 60

i'm still in hell act 3 and already lv60
maybe i explore every corner of the map to get books n archievements

hi guys, level 60 monk reporting in. currently fitted my monk that can tank any blue or yellow mobs in inferno act 1 with no problem at all. however, he still dies like flies in act 2.

Very happy to hear they are going to nerf act 2 difficulty in 1.03.

i tanked inferno belial with 24k hp back then...
when i go act3, i get WTFBBQraped within 3 sec by the fireballs lolx...
elite/ champion packs > bosses in D3

i tanked 4 man and iinm his normal unmitigated hit (i haven't attack him, was running around rezing lulz) was 100-150k on my friend

still! 4man tanking belial per hit is at most 20-30k? i got between 30-40k back then (now already over 40k).
a ton easier compared to rare/elites by a far margin.

the fella probably rush game la.

at Hell Mode Act IV most of us are around 58 - 59 already I think. Die many times and all, by the time reach Diablo also 60 already.

Need some advice from all the sifu sifu here. I'm a level 60 monk at Inferno Act 1.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong but i still cant kill a single elite mob unless its near the checkpoint and I'll die a few times.

My current stats are:
26k hp
4.8k armor
200 resist
10k dps
300 LoH
Bout 50% dodge if i remember correctly.

Skills are:
FoT, Blinding Flash, BoH, Serenity, SSS, MoE w/ Hard Target, Transcendent, OWE, Seize of Initiative.

I know my resist is low, but even fighting a simple Skeleton Elite in act 1 with the properties "mortar, jailer, extra health, fast" which should be simple for a melee, I still cannot tahan. Any advice from the sifus here?

You need 450-500++ resist to tank them (sort of)

Anyways ... I spent a bit of time farming Act I butcher, got some drops, bought some stuff off AH. ~6k armor (67% DR), ~600 resist (67% DR).


The more "beefy" white mobs whack me for 12k:


The stupid flies, even though on my screen I've clearly side-stepped their mini-flies, but I guess due to lag I still eat the full barrage for ~4.5k each


First Elite pack, these lacuni things, hit me FAST for 8k-9k, plus ~1.5k from their lightning shield.


I mean, are you kidding me? Solo Act2 inferno 600 resist not enough to stand more than a couple seconds?

Only 1.9% survives inferno.
