dear frenz,

its just a sharing...sharing is caring..XD...about the FC...if you want to have your expectation average FC, example 9.8L/100km....try do drive within that range....i think you can set is in speedo or tachometer thingy....IINM...you can see the average FC reading, current FC reading, how far can you you drive with current fuel.....at your display panel right? try it.......than you can know whether you can 'live' with it or not .hehehehe
hmm.gif trailer pass by oni...... shakehead.gif
blush.gif you can get opinion from tkaira also....i think he went there last Monday....

haha im sked if bro gigabit nt satisfied he will come fucuk me at home tongue.gif ... i would say the service is good so far.. staff is friendly..got free drinks but no free food though got cafe.. if u want to to 1st service then it will take around 30minutes-1 hour (depends on how many people are sending their cars there)..if u have other things to rectify it will add 30 minutes per item... but if u do make an appointment like say 10 am u come at 9.50 but the service advisor will usually entertain u after 10-15minutes which is at 10.15am..so need to wait a bit... if u need to rectify OWV then need to leave the car for a few days ..

i went to shah alam with a total distance 175km (to and fro) with average speed of 130km/h +- with occasional 160 or 150 ..amount of fuel used? rm30..I'd say not bad as my 1.3 saga would also use around rm30 if i managed avrg speed of 130km/h ..and why occasional 160? i found this babe on the hiway user posted image

as u can see its the non CFE variant but i'm not sure its the manual of cvt..but what i can say is the pickup of that car was fast..maybe he was in s as i was in d but it sure was fast.. i mean he was fucuking camrys and bimmers tongue.gif

u got a legit reason to speed up.... but be careful... *malang tidak berbau*

haha.. that car exited at toll ebor.. otherwise i would maintain 130 or 120.. i think for msian hiways 120-130 is the suitable driving speed as its not too fast nor slow and can react to unexpected incidents on the hiway better...

that is not normal...i think your place there must have lots of bump and traffic light and going up hill condition... u can toggle the information to see. you have trip A, trip B, Trip C, Average, instant, petrol, heat, light setting for gear and dashboard...

select instant you can see every time you go up hill even you are tapping using the same amount of strenght to the accelerator it will consume a lot. but during flat road 80 to 90 some time when you don't tap it you will see the instant value drop slowly. and sometimes can be zero when go down hill or when on flat road you use the car momentum to cruise.

you can try use instant then try tap and give yourself a limit. sometimes the instant can reach 25 or 30 also. when going up hill. 25l/100km is alot. so try to see the instant if around 5~ 10 ~ 20 should be ok after average you should get 10. something or maybe 9 also depend on your foot.

the average will be base on everything then recalculate. my first tank is only at 350 only but remaining around 48 km before finish petrol.

my second full tank can reach 450 km still got remaining 35km before petrol finish. try to press less than 2k rpm. then you will see even in city drive you can reach 400 mark. i get that 450 value is 60 city 40 highway.

so if you want less fuel consumption try that. but after your 1k service you will see it better. after 5 k more improvement after 10 k is the real one.

i believe this car can reach 600km with one full tank in highway if continue cruise 90 ~ 100 ~ 110. one day must try from kl to perlis then come back down.must try with two passenger with luggage, then next time try with four people or five people. next time try with air cond off only buka tingkap.

thanks for sharing..but for me for in town driving this car drinks fuel ..for highway act good but for town shakehead.gif ... i do understand the ECU and TCU has been programmed for fuel economy but i think it would be better if it was not.. if we need to press the pedal with lesser effort and the car can move already than we will sure have more economy as light foot.. but when the TCU like hesitating to change down (need floor it) then u press the pedal more so less economy.. for me the gearbox upshifts too early and downshifts too late.. well that's just me..anyone else agrees?

Collected my Preve during lunch time, my first impression

Defintely more fun to drive than test unit ..very minimal lazy mode or refuse to pick up from station, my SA explain the factory setting is good enough for comfortable drive no need to do tuning for new batch, my chasis number 31xx by the way. He did mentioned that the first few unit has came back for retune.

thats goo to here..my chassis nu is 106* cry.gif cant wait to have ecu remapped..btw some squicking sounds have appeared from the boot sweat.gif nt sure what it is doh.gif

The car move if u let go your leg at D like normal auto car, at RPM1.5k the car aldy able move fast enuf from standstill
and further pedal will provide good pick up .. far better than the test unit where the whole dashboard vibrate when i pedal in...

Congrats.

Yeah, the brake helicopter sound is due to the brake is new. In my case, soon I got the car out from PE COE and when press the brake, I can hear the helicopter sound and the car like jerking.... But the next day, all is gone. The burning smell is also because its still new. The next day, no more burning smell.

I don't have problem the lagging and don't have problem with all the doors and boot (all can be shut with minimal push/force) but I do have problem with wind noise. I can hear the wind noise even at 80km/h. So, SC should be able to fix the door issue.
*
my wind noise still there i hope if i send to coe can rectify..the noises form the boot is coming from behind the passengers head... i know where it s coming from but to rectify it would require proton to do it doh.gif ..man getting tired already always goint to SC sad.gif

drove back to melaka today. 130-140kmh except when got traffic. reached in 50 minutes.
wind noise was heard above 110kmh. u guys complain C pillar but i heard is from front. need to check again when go back KL tomoro.
my MIL when i reached my wife's house, said "wah new car ar! wat car?? VIOS??"

WTF...............................................

edit: even at 150kmh is still stable. really enjoy 130kmh only 3k rpm.
*
'wind' noise coming from front i think is the cvt noise sweat.gif ..most of us mistook it for wind noise..wind noise is like the one from c pillar

yo brother, how's the vios you driving? macam yes saje, yesterday i passby i saw you parked at the low cost apartment meh, don't la drive vios then stay with those *,

bro serious, i saw you driving vios with a girl but why la eating at mamak, no face no value, don't drive fast like the previan ok? cause we are kind of crazy when we know our car got the following:

-ABS
-EBD
-ESC
-Airbags
-Disc Brake
- MacPherson Strutbar
- Multilink

aiyah, is like that lah with those add up feature all from german company, we noob people act like driving continental car, i'm sorry for that.

You know lah when the car is added up with Turbo, we sometimes can be a jerk.

Don't do that with your vios because it is dangerous and you don't have all those kind of things, so drive safe baby let us do the fast and furious. Some more your car so expensive and high class, no point competing with us low quality car power windows rosak okay?

oh ya, rmb if the toyota auto accelerate, check your floor mat or in case you panic since no abs ebd esc airbags, you shift gears to "n" okay? and then off your car.

aiyah campro cfe low quality no such technologies want auto accelerate one so we have to manual press brake and accelerate ;(

i jelly you got vios. icon_question.gif

hah hah! good one  biggrin.gif

as my friend says, by adding some large "coat hangers" and body kit to the rear spoiler and exterior of any car, and also add any acronym, say "R" or even "M5", to any low end non-performance vehicle, a gullible consumer will instantly pay so much more to lead him to think his basic car will fly and perform just like a BMW M5 series  brows.gif
*
in msia..adding spoilers, skirtings, rims and some mugen, trd stickers (imagine a Peugeot having mugen stickers) adds instant 1000bhp tongue.gif rclxms.gif
