Epic fail... LMAO

The thread growth so fast even didn't online this 2 days. I have went to tg. sepat to celebrate my girl mother days with her family, saw 2 Preve here during yesterday dinner session 1 X preve number plate start with BLR XXXX and another preve white number plate start with WWTXXXX (executive variant).

4th days since after i got my car till today, i noticed that there were "Tak" sound each time when i push start my car. I heard the sound came from the gearbox panel, is it a normal for a car when push start? Have anyone of you experience this sound?

I also experience that my car fuel consumption is high, about 26-30/L during the town drive, i remember earlier when i pumped a full tank at RM83, i only manage to reach 303KM++ before the next full tank refill, the petrol balance indicate that i still can drive about 40KM++

Since after full tank RM85 refill last wednesday night, 2 days town drive to works + tg. sepat drive until now, i manage to reach 320KM plus petrol indicator stated that i still have remaining 60KM to drive before my next petrol refill.

Just wonder, is that normal that my car behave in such situation?

Sometimes, i just noticed that the air bag indicator light pop up from the display panel during the drive and it suddenly goes off and on again. After drive for about 10km, the air bag indicator light disappear and return back to normal.

that is not normal...i think your place there must have lots of bump and traffic light and going up hill condition... u can toggle the information to see. you have trip A, trip B, Trip C, Average, instant, petrol, heat, light setting for gear and dashboard...

select instant you can see every time you go up hill even you are tapping using the same amount of strenght to the accelerator it will consume a lot. but during flat road 80 to 90 some time when you don't tap it you will see the instant value drop slowly. and sometimes can be zero when go down hill or when on flat road you use the car momentum to cruise.

you can try use instant then try tap and give yourself a limit. sometimes the instant can reach 25 or 30 also. when going up hill. 25l/100km is alot. so try to see the instant if around 5~ 10 ~ 20 should be ok after average you should get 10. something or maybe 9 also depend on your foot.

the average will be base on everything then recalculate. my first tank is only at 350 only but remaining around 48 km before finish petrol.

my second full tank can reach 450 km still got remaining 35km before petrol finish. try to press less than 2k rpm. then you will see even in city drive you can reach 400 mark. i get that 450 value is 60 city 40 highway.

so if you want less fuel consumption try that. but after your 1k service you will see it better. after 5 k more improvement after 10 k is the real one.

i believe this car can reach 600km with one full tank in highway if continue cruise 90 ~ 100 ~ 110. one day must try from kl to perlis then come back down.must try with two passenger with luggage, then next time try with four people or five people. next time try with air cond off only buka tingkap.
now i just finish 1000km service... yesterday just put in full tank. rm87.18 (45.882 litre)

Third full tank got 489 remaining 45 km before petrol finish. so as you can see from my first full tank to third full tank getting more and more. all travel place is the same. 60% city 40% highway...

so let see how much this rm87.18 can go. nowadays i dont travel 80~ 90 anymore...sometimes will reach 110 easily.
All these travel usually below 2k rpm and only one person in the car. myself as a driver

after 2 years will need to conclude again here in lowyat forum..maybe version 110 already

maybe ask them to try check the one way valve see if any problem. you say during morning cold start got tak tak sound...but the sound is not suppose to be gear lever section..it should be the engine sound. if not try a different petrol station. i currently using petronas 95.

the route i travel only got five traffic lights. and the terrains is bit hill about 10 degree up and not so steep. but mostly highway so thats why just use the car momentum can already.

means preve have better sound?

Why the fan still spinning for 1 - 2 minutes after turn off the engine ? is that normal also ?
