Looks like Malaysia official ICS update is finally rolling out.
Interesting, kernel seems to be LP5? And it's non-wipe ROM too, so should be a painless upgrade.
Same caveats with all the official ICS rom shld still apply though, avoid fullwipe at all cost.

If you can't see the OTA update usually means your CSC videos incorrect (on stock ROM ). For MY firmware, your CSC has to be XME.

Small request here, can anyone on LP9 with root access extract /system/csc folder and /system/SW_Configuration.xml out? Would like to use it for modding purpose. Added on May 22, 2012, 7:33 pmQUOTE(BLANk_ @ May 22 2012, 07:31 PM) yea... Thanks for confirmation. I dunno why Samsung took that out... This post has been edited by kurogane: May 22 2012, 07:33 PM

QUOTE(sHawTY @ May 22 2012, 09:53 PM) Trying to flash Malaysia ICS using PC Odin. 1 question before I start flashing. What's the "SS_DL.dll" in the Zip file? Dr.Ketan's guide doesn't write anything about "SS_DL.dll"it is for Kies use. Can be safely ignored.

QUOTE(Alx77 @ May 23 2012, 12:23 AM) Battery life is not that good for Panaroid ROM, anyone facing the same? QUOTE(benny888 @ May 23 2012, 12:26 AM) Yes no good. Can say is the worst amongst all ics roms i have tested n a common complain too on xda Not only that... the ROM won't deep sleep, have to reboot a few times over the day to get it to do so... Also, it has some bug that forces it not to charge when you plug via USB as well. I still dunno what is the root cause of this. Much more worryingly when it's connected but not charging it will cause the phone to heat up like mad and I have to keep rebooting to make it charge. While I like the flexibility of P.A.D, but I still don't think the ROM is ready for daily use yet. Going to switch to LPF ROM. This post has been edited by kurogane: May 23 2012, 12:38 AM
