Samsung should create a complementary app for the Windows and Mac to sync the SNote or the SMemo features. Similar to what Evernote is doing..

ok here is what u might have to do
1)boot into download mode(using 3 button combo-vol up+home+power, then select vol up to continue)
2)plug phone to pc once u r in download mode(there will be a huge android with the word downloading something something)
3)open up ODIN (make sure u have installed ADB drivers-install kies will solve this)
4)select PIT,PDA,PHONE(modem),CSC and follow the xda(dr.ketans guide)carefully b4 u hit the START button
5)wait till it finish flashing(should take about 7-10  mins)
6)phone will reboot-set ur phone then after that
7)boot into 3e recovery(stock recovery)
8)select update from sd card
9)look for the file(cwm.zip) which u already downloaded and transfer to ur phone
10)install cwm.zip
11)wait til cwm recovery boot(should take less than 1 minit)
12)select flash from internel/external sd
13)select su-busybox.zip
14)flash it then reboot phone this time it should boot up with "android is upgrading" wait til it finish boot up then u will have SU (means u r rooted)
good luck thumbup.gif

Eh, anybody tried those gold high capacity battery before?
My battery life is horrible on Paranoid.
*
some are having pretty decent battery life with the Paranoid ROM. Usual problems with l2_hsic and AudioOut wake locks?

So what should I do bro?
*
nothing can be done for the l2_hsic as it has probably got something to do with the kernel architecture that was probably not done too well. I noticed that the l2_hsic wake up occurs whenever I connect my USB cable to the PC/Mac. Fastest work around is to switch OFF the phone and then count to 10sec, then boot up again. Reboot directly doesn't seem to work 100%. So, do try that method.

As for the AudioOut wake locks, turn OFF "screen lock sound" as I find it usually the culprit to this consistent AudioOut wake locks problem.
You can go to the extend of turning OFF all System sounds.

didn't login LYN the whole day and now found out that ICS for M'sia already release via Kies.
Suddenly see lots of new faces in the thread asking and having problems updating to ICS via Kies.

In summary, Kies sucks on Windows and sucks even more on Mac. tongue.gif

Gonna stick with RR V1 too for the moment..
We're still in V14, so the hype is no longer there as compared to when ICS German ROM was released tongue.gif

Those 2 ROMs can't be compared to as they are from 2 different types of architectures.

I see. Coz I see the dr ketan guide for Taiwan rom. Is it safe to follow or doesn't matter at all?

And, let's say if u flash using pc odin half way and pc restart or electric off, what is the procedure after that?
*
if that is the case, you will have a high risk of bricking.. sweat.gif
