Robin van Persie's wife has urged the Arsenal striker to repay the Gunners' faith by staying at Emirates Stadium. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Van Persie's future remains unclear with Manchester City leading the pursuit of the striker, who is out of contract next summer. The striker has been locked in talks with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and chief executive Ivan Gazidis but no agreement was forthcoming before he linked up with the Dutch squad for Euro 2012. But his wife, Bouchra, believes the striker should repay the faith Arsenal showed in him when he was struggling for form and pointed to the fact that their family are settled in London. "Arsenal showed faith in Robin when he was going through a lean time, so we should not repay them by thinking about other clubs," she was quoted as saying in the Sun. "Our home life and our children are happy in London." Van Persie's mother Jose added: "Arsenal love him and that's a great incentive to stay. Arsenal are a fantastic club. They have no debts and Robin is idolised there." Source

QUOTE(TheRedRanger @ May 29 2012, 03:11 PM) If Barca and Real in EPL, then la liga lost 2 of its UCL spots to the greater league..which in that case will be EPL... Thats one thing. Without the 2 clubs of the league. SPanish league suddenly becomes one of the lower league that only 2 UCL spots allowed and the other 2 go to EPL as the consequence of being the very best league in the world. Another thing being. When Barca joined EPL. EPL defenders were frustrated at the way they palyed football... Being booked even though didn't have any contacts... So a thinking comes to them... "Even if we didn't touch them, they fall and we get booked, we might as well just go for the hardest let them fall and we get booked". Within the 1st month, the entire Barca's 6 forwards and midfields went into hospitals. They will be forced to play with inexperience youths and got relegated at the end of the season. That makes the top 6 clubs in EPL being the 3 richie richs- Real Madrid, Man City and Chelsea with the other 3 being MU, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham or Newcastle. Savvy?
