By pressing remote lock for 2 seconds, our 408 can check whether the windows are not yet fully wind up. If yes, it will automatically wind up the windows. Good! I dont think this is mentioned in the manual. Is there any other hidden features that we dont know?

Yes. The function has been there since 308.

Do you guys check the anti-trap mechanism on ALL windows?

I'm experiencing almost the list of problems as yours with my 408T. Kind of annoying with all those tiny squeaky and rattling sound while driving.
Tomorrow will be my 3rd time of appointment to fix the problem in Balakong SC. I'll send my car to Glenmarie SC if the the problem still persist.

Off topic a little bit here. Either of you guys heard of the new 301? As far as I knew, it fits for a b-segment but also heard that it's only meant for left hand drive. Like 208, 301 also receive good reviews.

The 301 definitely looks better compared to the 408. They definitely should have brought the 301 over instead.

The 301 front looks more inline with the new Peugeot design language, the back also looks more balanced and not so awkward compared to the 408. But what's with the steering wheel design?

301 is not going to come to msia as long as 408 is here. 208 should be replacing 207 in 2013??

Oh if it's a C segment car,I can understand it not coming to Malaysia. PSA has invested heavily at Gurn plant on 408 production.

Probably my dad gonna get the 301, gonna replace his 207, hope got 5+5 same like the 207

Like what pogostik said, it's 508. Err, they wanted something around 1300 bucks. But then looking at the competency of nasim's workshops, I didnt pickup this "opportunity". I rather get my car fixed in specialist shops that knows what they're doing instead of randomly pointing at all possible faults.

Not sure who is that "guy"    but based on my opinion, the honour should go to the owner which is most "Active" and frequently sharing most knowledge/experience in 408 forum, no? Those that came in to my mind would be:

- SKYjack
- Jfcheong
- kejusan
With the information provided by them, it has helped me to make such decision.

Besides, in that way our rep could share/exchange information with the rest of Peugeot Club Malaysia

Thanks for pointing that out Jessy. My mistake. I didnt know. I thought 6 speeders was pretty normal these days for European makes. OK that explains the higher RPM.

U fully agree with her and yet she is talking about gearbox while u are talking about engines? 

And is it also kindergarten knowledge that when a car judders while braking, that means there is a tyre defect as you claimed before? Not sure which kindergarten u went to but i think the general knowledge is that when u have juddering during braking then its obviously due to something thats coming into contact with the brake pads. The tyres themselves dont come into contact with the brake pads rite? Or did your kindergarten teach u this as well?

Im glad u turned down the offer to represent the 408 owners here. Nasim would have walked all over you guys with you as a leader and your limited knowledge. If u want a good leader with decent knowledge about cars (even though he isnt driving a 408), then ask Sleepy. He drives a 508 but still should be a much better choice. Even EnergyAnalyst seems a decent enough guy to represent your group. Just my 2 cents.

What? can't believe I am hearing this. Really sorry to hear how appalling but unapologetic they are of their unprofessional conduct.

Actually in balakong they have scheduled shuttle service using a P 207 to take u to AEON and u can go have lunch and come back to the same drop off/pick up point. If u still go there next (given that we have no choice) be sure to not get hungry.

When did this engine kencing problem start-at what km mileage? If you don't mind sharing more...
