I dont think this is mentioned in the manual. Is there any other hidden features that we dont know? Not sure If it's in the manual, But SA did show this to me. I was like "Wow!!" Sua Gu ya... |

QUOTE(net_mave @ Dec 11 2012, 04:52 PM) I'm experiencing almost the list of problems as yours with my 408T. Kind of annoying with all those tiny squeaky and rattling sound while driving. Been heard so many complaints about the squeaky and rattling sound. But never seen any being solved successfully.Tomorrow will be my 3rd time of appointment to fix the problem in Balakong SC. I'll send my car to Glenmarie SC if the the problem still persist. |

QUOTE(kejusan @ Dec 16 2012, 11:17 PM) Off topic a little bit here. Either of you guys heard of the new 301? As far as I knew, it fits for a b-segment but also heard that it's only meant for left hand drive. Like 208, 301 also receive good reviews. 301 is a new compact sedan from Peugeot after Peugeot revised their naming system. Currently only available at certain Europe country. Feedback seems not bad. I am keen to see the new 208 OTR: ) |

QUOTE(zweimmk @ Dec 17 2012, 05:03 PM) The 301 definitely looks better compared to the 408. They definitely should have brought the 301 over instead. I agree the look on 301 is much more better and inline with new Peugeot design. However, it will be best if 301 exterior with 408 spec The 301 front looks more inline with the new Peugeot design language, the back also looks more balanced and not so awkward compared to the 408. But what's with the steering wheel design? Added on December 17, 2012, 5:19 pm QUOTE(EnergyAnalyst @ Dec 17 2012, 04:39 PM) 301 is not going to come to msia as long as 408 is here. 208 should be replacing 207 in 2013?? 301 is different range with 408, not in the same competitor level.Meanwhile, not sure if this is repost, but in case you've grown tired of explaining to the judgemental and sceptical others why 408 was your choice, read the link below to arm your self or simply ask them to read it themselves to save your breath. http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/sedans...on/viewall.html Why 301 cant see the daylight here as long as 408 is here? QUOTE(sleepy @ Dec 20 2012, 12:59 PM) Like what pogostik said, it's 508. Err, they wanted something around 1300 bucks. But then looking at the competency of nasim's workshops, I didnt pickup this "opportunity". I rather get my car fixed in specialist shops that knows what they're doing instead of randomly pointing at all possible faults. Talking about specialist workshop. Anyone know any workshop in JB familiar with Lion? At least I know other options other than SC just in case. . |

QUOTE(Kanasai79 @ Dec 26 2012, 05:40 PM) Not sure who is that "guy" Nah... not me. I am just a noob 408 owner with no technical knowledge. My vote to Skyjack.- SKYjack - Jfcheong - kejusan With the information provided by them, it has helped me to make such decision. Besides, in that way our rep could share/exchange information with the rest of Peugeot Club Malaysia |

QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Dec 30 2012, 12:41 PM) Thanks for pointing that out Jessy. My mistake. I didnt know. I thought 6 speeders was pretty normal these days for European makes. OK that explains the higher RPM. Thats our 408 owners matter, does that really bother u?Added on December 30, 2012, 12:50 pm U fully agree with her and yet she is talking about gearbox while u are talking about engines? And is it also kindergarten knowledge that when a car judders while braking, that means there is a tyre defect as you claimed before? Not sure which kindergarten u went to but i think the general knowledge is that when u have juddering during braking then its obviously due to something thats coming into contact with the brake pads. The tyres themselves dont come into contact with the brake pads rite? Or did your kindergarten teach u this as well? Im glad u turned down the offer to represent the 408 owners here. Nasim would have walked all over you guys with you as a leader and your limited knowledge. If u want a good leader with decent knowledge about cars (even though he isnt driving a 408), then ask Sleepy. He drives a 508 but still should be a much better choice. Even EnergyAnalyst seems a decent enough guy to represent your group. Just my 2 cents. Added on December 30, 2012, 12:55 pmGuys~ wanna ask, after I turn off my engine, the fan still running. Then i will hear a huge "TAK" sound, is that normal? This post has been edited by jfcheong: Dec 30 2012, 12:55 PM |

Peugeot SC, at least u guys have more options. I have only 2 available options in JB. One of it heard about some negative experience, customer brand new batt got stolen (swap with old batt) while send in for servicing. Hence, I got only one choice left. Sending my car for 10k service this month. Hope everything go fine!

QUOTE(EnergyAnalyst @ Jan 3 2013, 12:17 PM) What? can't believe I am hearing this. Really sorry to hear how appalling but unapologetic they are of their unprofessional conduct. I believe that engine kencing happens to most 508 owners since new collection of car. My friend who owned a 308T for not more than a year, already sent his car to SC for around 7 times. Still the common issue, engine kencing, batt flat...Actually in balakong they have scheduled shuttle service using a P 207 to take u to AEON and u can go have lunch and come back to the same drop off/pick up point. If u still go there next (given that we have no choice) be sure to not get hungry. When did this engine kencing problem start-at what km mileage? If you don't mind sharing more... |
