Got 5% cash-back on spending at Ootoya and Coldstone Creamery in SG =) Exchange rate was about 2.555 RM per SGD or something like that based on my calculation.

QUOTE(ronnie @ Dec 26 2012, 01:59 PM) Agree... keep an eye for the SMS to see if you are successful on getting the 20% The Curve Dining Rebate. My wife earning gross exactly at 36k/yr but applied at Big Bad Wolf and managed to get without appeal.... so much easier than my experience with higher salary. But she already have a year credit history I guess is the difference. Not many hold the OCBC Titanium MasterCard also... not easy to get approve |

QUOTE(weixuan @ Jan 4 2013, 12:22 PM) I'm in similar situation. Applied late December and was rejected. Very curious of the reason for rejection since my income is way above the minimum requirement and i do have good payment record on my other credit card and housing loan There's a reason OP got sample appeal letter. Not just to pai leng only =) |

Hi all, any way for my wife to use her OCBC savings account to pay my OCBC CC bill? Of course she can pay her own bill easily, but can't seem to find on the online page a way to pay 3rd-party OCBC CC bill.

QUOTE(simplesmile @ Jan 12 2013, 09:21 AM) Last year, I went there pay Amex. While I was there, I saw a banner that promoted paying via online MPSJ will give 5% rebate. See this link. Last year I paid online. No Amex, only ocbc. When paid via ocbc we DO NOT GET ocbc 5% cashback, only the 1%. And the mpsj 5% only get deducted from next bill. Just got my jan-Jun tax, there's a 5% deduction here. Looking at current bill, the 5% mpsj promo don't have already. Going to mpsj taipan later to pay with Amex =) over counterhttp://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2322113/+800 I don't know this year MPSJ still offer 5% rebate for paying via online. If yes, then I plan to use OCBC or Amex (get 5%) pay online (get another 5%). Total 10% rebate. |

Otherwise 'why bother' got no meaning, we all reading here are the customer not the owner of the shop, we only got two choice, either go and spend there or don't spend. |

QUOTE(Titan_Gunners @ Jan 17 2013, 08:33 AM) Pls discuss for CC related topic only. You may head to Home and renovation thread, there are specific thread on this issue. Thanks, never knew there was such section (and the TNB thread is more than a month old). Posted there instead.Mainly due to their new billing practice since last year. 1 month using estimate bill, 2nd month using actual bill. |

QUOTE(red_scorpion @ Feb 6 2013, 09:45 PM) wah, all of u got so high credit limit. My credit limit is just 1.5x of my salary. sweat. Lazy to submit form for credit limit increasing. :-( As mention, this card should not need higher than 1k (maybe 5k in case you spend all also on 1% stuff) credit limit anyway. Once cost higher than that I rather take out any other card. |
