Then it is not easy to get this card. Haiz... I had MBB2cards but I always need to refill my car petrol and buy groceries sometimes on weekdays. Thinking of using this to get rebate.

guys, i just registered digi for online payment on ocbc website. but not sure i did it correctly.

lets say the account number is 1.3567445, just remove the dot which means only 13567442 right ?

previously it was auto charged to my citibank credit card, so it will now charge to ocbc automatically or there is something i have to do ?
*
U need to ignore the dot when u key in the acc no..

I have 2 cards in hand. I see no reason they rejected me doh.gif
ANd yes, please I want the card tongue.gif

Now I know why I got rejected already.
They (OCBC fellow) are rejecting your application if your first card / credit limit is way below their requirement.

Eg :  if your first card is 5k credit limit. Take the 5k divide by 3 (making assumption that the credit limit is 3 times your salary) and you will have there about 1.5k. And 1.5k x 12 = RM 18k per annum, definitely REJECT

And I find it stupid. First card in life, and fresh graduate, expect to have 20k credit limit ? sleep.gif

Anyway, that's how they evaluate and how they approve your card.
And CCRIS even clean also won't help anything. Even you provide 3 months pay slip also they won't evaluate you using the payslip. That's what I had been told tho. They will still refer back to your credit limit per card !
*
This is the different between u apply through online sales staff n direct sales staff..if u apply through direct sales staff, ur income will b follow ur latest payslip not ur crisis credit card limit..this is bcoz got direct sales staff can prove ur latest income, they got saw ur original payslip..if u apply online then no ppl can prove ur income, they can suspect is fault de so tat's y the rejection rate for online application is so high..

I am applying this card now and the agent told me this card can get the 4% or 5% cash rebate for Great Eastern Insurance.
I remember the agent told me that maximum is RM6000 then 4% or 5% cash rebate and blah blah...
What you need get a form from your insurance agent and fill up a form and apply it.

Hope my application will be approved. =)
*
If the max amount is 6k then the card u applied was great eastern titanium..this card only can enjoy 2% rebate from 6k premium so is rm 120 (max)..annual fee n following year GST need use rm 18K not include the 6k premium..The premium muz do auto debit if not u can't enjoy the 2% rebate..

Is there any difference on processing duration if I choose to apply at OCBC branch rather than agents?
*
Yup..if u apply wit direct sales staff then will faster a bit coz they will follow up for u since this is their main target..if u apply wit bank staff u need to pay gst n they will not follow up for u since tis is not their main target..

I agree with you, i never had my credit card application rejected. This is first time for me!

I applied at OCBC branch. Annual income few times above the min 36k, given  EPF, BE Form, EA form and got rejected!.
Few years ago i got OCBC cc but  i didnt use much and i cancelled it. Could that be the reason?
Any idea how i can go about getting this much sought after credit card? Appeal ? Reapply with another person-------> then_then? can?

Standard chartered card so easy to get, got money come with it somemore!! On top of that i had also cancelled SC card before still can get easily.
Disappointed with this OCBC not keen to get customer attitude.......

mind to share with me about reapply? How soon after the first application can we reapply?

I read the sample appeal letter. How to get the CCRIS report for ourself?

Yeah I'm in the same boat as u, just got my application rejected last week after 3-4 days processing. Damn fast.
I called up customer service and they suggested I write a letter for review of application.
I've done that and are now waiting for OCBC to call me...  unsure.gif

then_then thanks for offering to help, but i wanna give it another chance, first.

Really this OCBC titanium very tarik harga card, reject people like nobody's business...........

The more they reject the more people like to reapply, creating more work for OCBC and they seem to 'enjoy' extra work , collecting papers ,and receive calls???

Today i called up the bank staff and told her  i found out(10days after submiitting my appl) mine was rejected from tel call to CS., she said will check it out. Called back told me some document problem since i put as self-employed bla bla........

so later in the evening i called the CS auto reply, at first it said  "unsucessful" followed by another  reply "in processing". So i am confused, got connected to the operator and asked her what is my appl status now, she told me just listen to autoreply, i said me confused already, then only she checked for me. Finally she came back with anwer result is "pending".... Just yesterday another guy from CS told me a clear unsucessful and he couldnt do anything, somemore no reason given.

Very kheng this OCBC in handling card application!!!!!!! the result  just keep changing from time to time........Other banks' credit card where got so difficult to apply one?
*
U apply online o thru sales staff?
