Wonder how come some of you guys finding hard in getting one.

OCBC is very generous to give this titanium card to professional body, like Lawyer, Auditor, Doctors.

I am the card owner since last year.

Last month, I helped my sis to put in her name and contact on OCBC webpage, within 2 weeks she received her cards.

Indeed this one of the best cards for the first RM1000 expenditure in a month.

Added on November 12, 2012, 2:16 pmMay I know when will the extra RM20 cash back on telco bill payment's reimbursement be made?

I paid consequently every month. Didnt get also.. =.=

They are targeting fresh graduate / Degree holders, age between 21-28 to apply, he told me.

how to check whether the restaurant or spending place is under 55 or 1% rebate?
*
u mean before or after you patronize?

if before:
1stly, use some common sense. it's only 5% for that 4 stated category and 1% otherwise

2ndly, check the forum here is a good step as well, to get to know places that u tot is 5% but actually is only 1% due to wrong perception (jusco is departmental store, not groceries), wrong MCC code assigned to the cc swipe machine (some restaurant get wrong mcc code, for example, health store or whatsoever) and etc.

if after:
1st option, check against your own statement and calculate which is which

2nd option, call up the CS

Does anyone still rmb the rebate for 10%+10%+15% for paying phone bill from July - Sept..

i was told that the extra 5%+5%+10% will be credited to our account on Nov's statement. Just received mind but not seeing these rebates..
*
the t&c said that it will appear by nov 30th, it did not say anything about appearing in nov' statement.

My statement date is 11th, the date rebate is credited. How come my expenses on the 10th is considered as the next following month?
*
probably the merchant late post the transaction, only after the statement is generated, then only merchant posted it to ocbc system..

call CS to be sure wink.gif

With all due respects, I cannot understand why most keep bashing ocbc when they did not approve some applications.

Yes, u might fulfill all their criteria. But they dun have an obligation to approve every eligible application. There is something called risk management. Perhaps, they are limiting the applications for some certain categories of users. Or perhaps they have a quota for each month or so.

Raging about it here is like someone expecting u to lend them money for sure just because u never default any repayments.

alternatively, u can head to mymydin too...

some accept credit card for tngo reload....check this thread
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1803385

it's to compile mymydin that accept amex for tngo reload, so that ppl can enjoy 5% and 5x TP from maybank 2 cards amex..
but if they accept amex, they sure have no problem accepting any other credit card...

I wonder if we could see the Addiitonal Telco rebate credited tomorrow (30-Nov)
*
Actually, I'm not that optimistic. Maybe a couple more days or weeks. If follow by tnc, we should see it now, on the basis that they shudnt expect to do this last min.

However, now we are entitle to rage if it's not in after 30th laugh.gif

I paid Telekom bill online: Details as follow

Aug : 94.00
Sep : 93.85
Oct : 93.55
Nov : 112.70

The above refers to months whereby the actual transaction happened.

My cash bonus is only 18.83
Why so low?
*
maybe ur payment is like this?

aug bill - paid in sept 94.00
sept bill - paid in oct 93.85
oct bill - paid in nov 93.55
nov bill - paid in dec 112.70

only 94 + 93.85 + 93.55 eligible = 14.07
93.55 additional 5% = 4.6775

total 18.74...

Where you guys check? I saw I've been credited with RM24.25 but I can't see any details of my transaction.

And another thing, I've been given less of the amount.

I pay mine the following way all through the online banking

July
RM80 (though OCBC savings account) - Card not approve yet

Aug
RM85 (through OCBC Credit card)

Sep
RM400 (through OCBC Credit card)

I should have RM48.25 instead. But now I only see they charged my Aug and Sep rebates with 5% each only. Hence the amount is that.

I called the OCBC CS before this and was told I'm eligible for the additional 5% (on top of the 5% rebate) for final month.

I don't see my 1st month rebate as well
*
as i remember, yes, saving is eligible for 5%, but then if u pay using saving acc, why the f u check CC then for that month, check ur saving acc...

as for whether u r eligible to get the additional 5% on sept, that i dunno la..i think the system wun be so "intelligent" to check both acc is the same person...u might need to argue a bit on it..

QUOTE(Devil4life @ Dec 6 2012, 03:30 PM)
Mind your language. I did specify my scenario properly. I did check my saving acc which didn't credit my money (should have RM4 for the RM80 I paid).

I have confirm with the CS and was told I was eligible for the additional 5% if I do it this way. Hence only I proceed paying the next 2 months by CC instead, or else I would have gone for savings.  I'm not that dumb either as I can calculate my cash back.

I will call the CS after this to confirm, I have records anyway to show that I was told this way. Anyway I posted here to give you all insight in case anyone did the same.

ADDED : I only got my OCBC Titanium during Aug because they process my application slow. It's not I careless and check the wrong side. Please don't assume just because I'm with a newbie tag doh.gif
*
a few points:
- no, u did not said u checked ur saving acc
- no, i dun see ur tag, i would have reply the same way anyway
- and i said u might need to argue on the additional 5% not coz it's ur fault, its cos we are not sure of it and u r just getting an assurance from one particular CS and it's not even in T&C
- and plz...u r the one who took offence, whats wrong with saying stuff like wtf? unless u r an angel
