this i am not sure, well the latest siyah 3.2.5 wont work, 3.2.4 also wont work both got mount sd problem, siyah 3.1 points external sd as internal sd like a boss doh.gif , end up i give up and try fluxxi. you can go trial and error with all the siyah versions though hahas. i did read in paranoid thread that siyah 3.1rc6 works.

mine in settings>storage the sdcard wont mount, bluetooth wont work as a result, i also dunno why rclxub.gif

oh yea i using Go SMS Pro, coz it can schedule backup and restore sms no matter which rom i'm on

okay i need help, just now changed to tablet mode, tried some games, then my statusbar keep died, and now cant open settings @@, cant even change back to normal mode, @@

hello guys, here i share another thing i found while playing with this paranoid rom
first we have the mountSD app from xda

problem is the app works and things starts working fine once you have a good kernel, but the usb mass storage is broken as a result, i dont know why but i cant connect to my com in mass storage with this app. so then i used this, multi mount sdcard, its supposed to help me enter mass storage mode and yes it works rclxms.gif

ok another thing, is the auto-brightness bugged in cm9/paranoid? it kinda sucks, if yes how do i fix it? i saw there's some extra settings under display>brightness and also i searched xda it seems they say lux works or something, anyone knows?

i found that k9 and the android's exchange sync has some wakelocks wan, especially if your mobile data not so stable(like DiGi doh.gif ) or you using some batt saving apps, then it might sync/pull fail and will wakelock there for awhile. this happens in mine la, seen it many times thru betterbatterystats

kies sometimes have problems connecting, so let's say you flash ad and you cant connect to kies already, then how? no need restore? that's why, most of us who flash custom roms dont even bother with kies

yes i know, i softbricked my phone when i first got it too, just take it easy its very hard to brick. since you're flashing stock firmware, should be no problem with connecting back to kies la.
btw, you're using i9100 or i9100G? this is very important.

welcome to the band! well its not exactly the perfect rom, but tablet mode is soo....nice laugh.gif and the best part is most of the stuffs you can adjust adjust with their per app dpi values called hybrid mode, like ur in tablet mode 120dpi but apex launcher in phone mode 240dpi with messaging at tablet mode, while whatsapp at phone mode. also some apps looks alot nicer in tablet mode than phone mode plus now he's gonna release a new one to allow changing the dpi for widgets, as you all know widgets when resize wont exactly be resizing, but this one will drool.gif

how only is miniature hangs? well i using apex launcher and this rom, smoothness i'd say on-par with gb la, but this i cant say much la, coz each person different, but for me its good.

disadvantages ah? well this is not a samsung rom so all samsung stuffs cant work, flipboard still works tho, its based on cm9 sources, bugs of cm9 sources apply here. if you use tablet mode, might have some graphical problems with apps and games due to different sizes but all this can usually be fixed by changing the dpi and stuffs, so you have to spend some time testing out which dpi works lor different apps, well most apps wont have problem, just that sometimes like messaging you might not like the fonts so small go eg. also in tablet mode our keyboards all suck! its so small, although the rom does provide a usable ori ICS keyboard, but swype swiftkey all cant use. the rom developer is currently working on fixing the keyboards like swiftkey. also you cant sync via the usual fb app, need friendcaster or other apps, also the alarm clock sucks, but you can get nice nice ones on the market. hmm more or less thats all for disadvantages, advantages are mostly cm9 stuffs in addition to the one i already mentioned.
