I am always very nervous about hanging the phone in the car when the car is moving and creating some vibration. In the market they usually put those hangers with "plastic sucker" - either stick it to the windscreen or dashboard. But wouldn't it will become loose and then the phone will drop off and might damage the phone ?

Those devices meant for GPS use only are much lighter than my smartphone ler, they will not fall off so easily. My smart phone is just too heavy.

And then you wouldn't stick the hangers there all the time right ? Meaning after use you will dismantle it ? It's so leceh !

Well, if it is not too troublesome for you, do you mind posting a picture of your jig with the note2 hanging on it ?

Thanks a million.

How often do they update their map anyway? As far as I know they only update when they update their app

Offline but you need to go online during installation to pull down the map data. The map data is a few hundred MB, so they recommend you to use WIFI for that instead of blowing off the quota of your 3G.
