Hi.  I am not sure what happens after 7 days, maybe the program will say "Activate Me" and won't run?  If you have tried let us know.

Program will not work after 7 days. You will be directed to sygic website to purchase the maps

The software is freely downloadable from android market / Play Store.

As I have read, it works full for 7 days trial so users can test it.

After that, what needs to be paid for continued use, is your desired map(s).

I saw "Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia" map bundle is USD 43 now (RM 132), though I have encountered instances before that they reduce the price sometimes as promotion.

For Msia/Spore maps : My first purchase in 2010 was Euro 30 ; second purchase special offer Euro 9.99 and last purchase this year was Euro 14.99
One licence to one phone. If you wish to change phone, just email sygic support - give them new phone IMEI, your purchase record and new phone will be activated usually within few hours

I am always very nervous about hanging the phone in the car when the car is moving and creating some vibration. In the market they usually put those hangers with "plastic sucker" - either stick it to the windscreen or dashboard. But wouldn't it will become loose and then the phone will drop off and might damage the phone ?

Those devices meant for GPS use only are much lighter than my smartphone ler, they will not fall off so easily. My smart phone is just too heavy.

And then you wouldn't stick the hangers there all the time right ? Meaning after use you will dismantle it ? It's so leceh !

I have yet to see mine drop off even after months of usage. Just take it out say every 3-4 months n wipe clean the suckers
I m using note2 with it
