Hey guys. I'm planning to buy either SSFIV or SFxT for the PC. First of all, I'm aware that Malaysia is not supported under GFWL and I'm hoping that someone can enlighten me if this will affect my multiplayer experience. Personally, I would prefer SFxT as it has an easier learning curve compared to SSFIV but I really don't mind if I get the latter.

Any opinions? Will multiplayer even work for me?

Have you created your GFWL ID yet ?
If you haven't, you can create it under US. That would solve a lot of problem.
If not, it's still ok. Only certain games are restricted from Malaysia, example Batman Arkham City.

Both SFXT and SSF4 can be played under GFWL Malaysian ID. And their multiplayer function will work fine
If you want to buy extra DLC, just buy microsoft point for asian region.

I vote for SSF4.

I don't have a GFWL ID yet. I'll try making a US ID when I buy then. Also, I'm wondering about the number of people playing these games. I'd like to be able to connect to an opponent in casual matchmaking if possible. And is it possible to buy the game digitally?

Just put US addy can buy digitally liau ( according to other ppl lah, i haven't try it yet )

Personally, i think fighting games are dying now.
Just a small bunch of ppl like us here play it once in a while.
You can always post a time/date here with your GFWL ID, i'm sure one of us would be happy to play with you

No. 1 is I'm still using streamyx
No. 2 is my sister knows how to operate the router...
No. 3 best time to play is before 4pm on weekdays when no one is home yet lol but I'm guessing most people here have day jobs.

It's annoying for me as well, when playing dota, I can go to 1000ms ping. :T My internet. It spikes. Like crazy.
