if I wanna flash custom rom? choose GB custom rom only right?nid to flash CWM right? jz dnt falsh any ICS repack...
bro nas... what is CF root? i thought they claim LPY is unsafe (btw what LPY stand for) LOL...
To be super safe, don't flash any ROM. Use stock ROM

If you want to root, you can flash the pre-rooted GB LC2 ROM via PC Odin and after that flash in CF-Root LC1 to get your CWM Recovery function.
That by far is the safest kernel and safest root. No users had complain of bricking before if the steps are done correctly.
As for the LPY kernel, it was the kernel released by Samsung for the ICS German ROM and there is 1 user in XDA who got his GNote bricked after flashing the kernel via CWM Recovery from CM9 ROM.
That's the only person till date.
As for what is LPY stands for?

it's just some characters abbreviations defined by Samsung during the release of any kernels. In the past there were LP1, LP5, LP6 (ICS Kernels) and there were LC1, LC2 (GB Kernels).
