Must see how serious is the dent. Last time mine was same case as yours. Mine got a few scratches here and there but no problem in claiming warranty.

Just want to clarified the dent at my corner whether the warranty is total void or not.
They not sure,just let me know claim chance is 20% success rate.
If wanna sure need leave there for 2 day to get report from apple.
I also ask the price for exchange in case if warranty is confirm void, they told me all model of new iPad is same price which is about RM1300.
I wonder if u owe a new iPad wifi only 16GB model, retail price at 1499, does it logic the exchange program price will be RM1300?
Then people owe 32 GB wifi plus 4g new iPad more worth for exchange program.
Some forum mention is 50% of retail price if u go for exchange program.
Who to trust i also dunno.
Need call apple again to clarify the exchange price for malaysia,hai......

Dropped mine from waist height and have a dent at the lower right corner. Everything else is working fine untill i notice that my screen ( the lcd under the touch panel ) is shifted towards the point of impact.

Since my warranty is already void, anyone konws where i can get it fixed for a reasonable price around selangor?

Sorry to hear that. Well I suggest u just to live on with it without getting it fixed. My iPad also have the dent there don bother repair and i'm still in my warranty :/

Dropped my iPad 3 together with my MacBook Air too

Dropped mine a few times, got dented on both top corners but luckily still usable.. I guess great design dont always come with durability.. Must invest in good cover case...

Really ouch, my iPad and MacBook Air got dent now

just dropped my ipad and now the screen goes blank. but it seems everything else is working (i believe) as im still able to connect to itunes and do backup etc. sound still working when connect the usb thingy with the *beep* sound.

anyway to restore the blank screen? is it a hardware issue for sure? how much it normally cost to repair/fix/replace?

drop it once... luckily got use cover... only cover broken~

but i drop both my ipod touch n got very small dent edi... drop my father iphone many times as well haha

i do accidentally drop it once
but with a good cover

if without cover sure already cracked

already dropped my iPhone 4 many times already (accidentally)
very good cover, never had any problem
except once the sim-card need to be open and insert again

My iPad have dent, now got dust under the screen after use sometime.
Just send to switch apple service provider today.
I am thinking how to talk to apple for claim?
