I'm using chromage 3rd party LPE6.
Last 60% as long as an original LPE6

A fully charged LP-E6 can last me an entire 16GB CF card  of 1080p..... I think.
*
Where did you get it bro?

QUOTE(egoness @ Aug 16 2013, 10:57 PM)
Did a test with a new LP-E6 with 5D3. it last for around 1 hour and 15 mins, roughly.
they degrade for time too i think.
*
My original LPE6 lasts quite long. But i rather not spend that much for a battery.
That's why i thought of getting 4 - 5 sets of 3 party batteries that's perform as good.

I bought it from Singapore.
One thing about 3rd party batteries, their charge drain even when you're not using them.
Keeping them in storage for 2 weeks would reduce their charge by 30-50%
*
Exactly spot on. I used to have phottix & octopus batteries for my 7D & 40D. They drain after a week plus. Even its in my bag and fully charged.

Guys, what do u guys think of Lenovo Y510p for HD video editing?
*
Looking for something mobile, go for Macbook Pro.
If you're at home editing, then invest on a 5-6k editing clone PC.

Yeps, definitely recommended especially if one is running and gunning.
Boom mic is the best but you're gonna need more "hands"

Anyone here know where to learn tips & trick on handling a glidecam? from youtube or any other source? biggrin.gif

There quite a few on YouTube but majority are sharing how to balance and so, watched and try on my own and get wobbling footages like filming on a boat. I guess practice is the main key, still learning hard on it. Couldn't find a great tutorial that is focus on the foot step, wanna get some idea from it.

Remember read an article that says holding a cup of water and walk or run to practice is similar theory... biggrin.gif

Balancing & and handling its done for me as i have been using HD2000 almost 13 months. But i need to know some other tricks like flipping the glidecam, making like a Jib shot or etc. brows.gif

Bumping a little here.
Anyone here have any experience with V-mount batteries ?
They seem extremely expensive hahaha.
Also.... I'm looking for a good video tripod (my Manfrotto tripod can't really take it) that I can put a 2meters Jib + slider/panhead on top of it. Any recommendations ?
*
The price for V-lock battery and charger should costs around RM990 and above depending on the quality and brand.

I honestly think that Manfrotto will do the job fo you. Manfrotto MVK500AM tripod Kit RM1890 is my choice.

the difference is the bearing only.
pretty much same
*
I am currently using Konova K3. So far it has been great. My 1st slider was Glidetrack HD. It sucks big time since no roller bearing was used.
Now i am planning to upgrade to Edelkron for much more mobility.

I ordered mine from Tommy from DirectImaging. Should be this month arrived. Also Pelican 1560 case for it.

Phantom Battery is NOT compatible with Ronin. Ronin using 4S as Phantom using 3S.
