My rear drum brakes gives a "kruk kruk" sound when I hit the brakes. Any idea?

some faulty thing in the drum brakes. It is also a common issue in later batch FLX/FLX SE.

Yes, CoSE said parts have to be replaced. They don't even need to test the car. I've sent in early this morning before work.

Even with NGV installed, they wouldn't care about the non-related part failure. In contrary to some believes that NGV conversion will void all warranty.

It depends where you go for the claim, really. COSE will let you claim, no prob, but smaller SCs usually won't..

Of course lah. One way or another they have to provide some sort of warranty for NGV cars ma.. So many taxis and private vehicles running on NGV out there..

if wrapped too tight, the extractor will crack due to lack of space during expansion. Stainless steel extractors are prone to this problem.

i saw some technique and some of them are weird

- some only wrap the steel part and leave the welded part expose.
- some will put back their heatshield and weld it to the extractor
- my wira last time, modify the fan ( 2 unit ) to keep on spinning whenever i turn on the key. before that, the fan will spin when only reach certain temp. raise the bonnet a bit tonggek to ease the air flow. cool2.gif
- use evo like bonnet with the scoop hole to get the heat dissipate fast. blink.gif
