but NGV tank really look like a bomb @@
not all car is suitable to use NGV though. I heard from my uncle, if you look at the Nissan serena taxi in the airport, they are definitely using petrol. Coz there are quite a number of serena engine kong after running NGV =="

The savings will definitely not equal to or much less than the extra weight of the NGV tank.
*
Compensating the weight increase by lightening other parts of the car. The fiber tank that I am using is 58kg.

50-70% cheaper. Stations are in abundance in Klang Valley. One ngv station is walking distance from home. There is 2 more within 5km radius from my home. To pump petrol, I have to queue here at Puchong. Ngv no queue.

You will never be able to lose that much, unless by removing rear seats and/or replacing the hood with REAL carbon fibre hood, and strip your car completely bare of insulations and door trims.

One thing about using NGV is you just dont care going here & there.

Petrol will cost rm 10 for approx 50km
Ngv will cost rm 2.50 for 50km

You guys should really try it first, prolly test drive anyone's car wink.gif

I've been to spain, italy & brazil, u can find NGV pump in every single gas station. They have petrol, ngv, & diesel in one station. smile.gif

NGV station in klang valley is at least 5-10km radius. NGV for city driving can last approx 160km with a single pump which is RM10+. rclxms.gif

how bout revving with NGV? my idea is like that
since NGV gives less power, so i will rev it so hard everytime so that the power same with using petrol, and since rev more = consume more fuel/gas
so will NGV still gives better mileage?

My comment still stands. If u are driving in KL with traffic jam condition, splendid! However, outside of Klang Valley is more time consuming and lots of detour.

You sound like you don't live in klang valley.
Of course, if there is no good facility at your place, it isn't feasible. My main motivating factor is the availability. I'm going to puspakom by this week. 25% road tax discount for low emission vehicles.

Revv like hell, you still get 110km+++ & it is still cheap.
By installing NGV you will lost 10% power & not 50%.

Have to agree with you. It is viable if NGV station is at least 5km from home or at least on the way to office or any of your daily route.
