its a known fact even before release that s3 gonna outscore HOX. just like how exynos beat tegra 2 during sgs 2 time


but this time, the score was a bit disappointing because it was only a minor 10 - 20% at most improvement


and not to forget it was smoked by the dual core snapdragon s4. A15 + 28nm

basicly garage sales sellers are able to sell the phone cheaper during initial launch compared to the RRP price, but maybe no freebies

if you buy from samsung at official launch with the RRP price, chances are you will receive some freebies

16gb and 32gb also possible. 64gb might be hard to fetch a market


but we are talking about 64gb with expandable memory here. unlike fruit brand

financially wise if you have no problem, just go for it. and you can sell ur gnote to earn back some cash, at least the resale price is not low now


but if you're thinking of saving and waiting. then i suggest u to wait for note successor. who knows it might come with exynos 5, that is a very big jump. note > s3 won't be considered a major upgrade for me


same for my case, i feel if i go for s3, i'm just wasting money and end up at almost the same spot.

need to depend on the market condition as well

snapdragon s4 is already in so the competition is there. if suddenly snapdragon decide to release their snapdragon s4 quad that might persuade samsung to bring in their exynos 5 as well

but knowing samsung and their users, they have the ability to postpone it until Q1 2013 and still survive the market

to be honest with you, the quad on the s3 is considered an " outdated " tech because it still relies on the old cortex A9 architecture. however since its 32nm its still better than current quads lets say tegra 3 which is 40nm.

if you wan a real jump and real deal in performance, wait for exynos 5 or snapdragon s4 quad, which are based on A15 and 28nm


you can check out the benchmarks of s3 compared with current market leaders. its around 10 - 20% faster than tegra 3 thanks to its 32nm process. but the snapdragon s4 DUAL CORE is still able to keep up to it


and that comes to another point, you can't judge a phone performance based on how many cores the processor have. this applies to desktop processors as well. cores are just to share the load of processes in the phone so when things get too loaded, more cores will join in to the processing part


take this example, its like 4 protons trying to carry a bunch of passengers from one spot to another on a straight road, compared to 2 lamborghinis doing the same thing. and note there's no traffic jam
