QUOTE(~C.W.S~ @ Jun 7 2019, 05:35 PM) EDH-3497RDW, I asked the shop and check their display unit before they don't have the filter too I even showed them the online user manual their sales person also not sure about it. The physical manual don't have it I assume it was different model cater for different countries. Omg. Mind sharing which shop was that?Found the parts description from web, Basically the parts 411, 418 and 420 were missing. https://www.ransomspares.co.uk/diagram/elec...0(91609696302)/ Guess I gonna try annoy them again with the findings I gathered so far. You could drop by other shops and check, then show photos. Just to pester then. Probably removed from display unit, afraid it being stolen. It's easily removed after all. Always get the extended warranty if you're buying Electrolux heat pump. Good luck!

QUOTE(MuhdHusaini @ Jul 14 2020, 05:37 PM) I'm using Electrolux 9kg heat pump dryer. It's good, a lot less power consumption. But the thing spoiled right after warranty, 2nd year. Cost me some money to replace the parts and Electrolux contracted technician suck, they're fraud. |

QUOTE(xngjn @ Feb 28 2021, 01:39 PM) Hi, I looking to had dryer + washer. I heard the dryer motor easy spoil so better to buy seperately. Is it correct? Electrolux 9kg dryer's motor always spoil. Bearing sound, too often. So just stay away from that model, unless you get 5 yr warranty coverage.Another thing is electric bill. I heard it will expennsive around RM5+- per use. Anyone had try of buy 1 solar panel + power generator attach to dryer and washer? As for consumption, if RM5/usage. If average you use 1 time every day for a month you'd be paying RM150 just for dryer. I think it's not too bad. But if self service laundry is cheaper, maybe can consider that option for the trade off of convenience. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Apr 12 2021, 11:05 AM) As a super newbie in washer and dryer, does anyone have comments for below models? I doubt you could even stuff your comforter into the 10kg washer's drum.1) Toshiba TWD-BK90S2M (Washer 8kg, dryer 5kg) 2) Panasonic S106G1WMY (Washer 10kg, dryer 6kg) Can they at least wash and dry a king size bedsheet and comforter? If you have used/owned above models, please share your experience. Otherwise, what's the minimum capacity needed for above requirement? Then, I will search again. I have 9kg washer, just mattress protector set, it's quite full already. |

QUOTE(JRitzman @ Apr 23 2021, 11:10 PM) Bought one Electrolux 8kg heat pump dryer with 2 years warrantee. Dry perfectly only on first year. Going to second year all cloths damp after complete cycle. Called Electrolux tech to repair, 1st he poured water to the condenser coil. Then cloth still damp, called again, he replaced the PCB board, sensor and dunno what, anyway still damp. So needed to do 2 or 3 cycles to get dry cloths. The final straw came after 4 years, the drum belt snapped. I threw away the dryer. My quip is don't buy anything Electrolux. Now I'm trying the LG heat pump double inverter, see how long it can last My 9kg Electrolux heat pump dries clothes with slight damp. I thought it's normal. It's more damp if you left then longer in the drum after the cycle had completed.Pros 1.No exhaust tubes 2.Uses inverter condenser, safe electricity tremendously 3.Water can be expelled easily Cons 1.A lot of dust built up in the machine itself, you need to open and blow the dust away after few years 2.Condenser can get clogged up with dust and not even the company technician knows how to clean it (they just replaced the pcb, the sensor, and other stuffs but never fixed the problem) 3.Took longer time to dry cloth than vented dryer. Usually I just hang them straight into my open wardrobe and it's be ok the following day. |

QUOTE(MasBoleh! @ Nov 11 2025, 09:36 PM) hi all, for some reason, Harvey Norman guys just delivered the washing machine and dryer without installation. Now I am not sure how to install the dryer, seems like there're wires needed to be connected and also a chrome host to dunno where as per the video. Call their customer service and lodge a complaint? Maybe they'll come back to finish the job?I am not sure where to get installer to help me on this |

Wow, HN's service so crappy!
Something to look out for if buying from them in the future. I had bought a heat pump dryer previously, but never seen the power cable in detached form though. Hope you get it sorted out soon. |
