Isn't the silicon thing written as... Extremely flammable? Wonder if it's suitable for engine, since it is super hot all time. Perhaps you might want to check out the behind labels to see if it's suitable smile.gif

Anyone know where can view Santorini Blue up close in KL/PJ?? I abandoned black color and wanna change to sleek/hyper. saw hyper yesterday but my missus not convinced. she prefer sporty color and wanna look at actual santo blue before making up her mind for the very last time. saw a photo of santo blue posted in FB but the color looked so drab and dull, unlike some images from other website where the color is striking.
*
previously available over at HQ but not sure if the owner collected already or not biggrin.gif (glenmarie)

ehehe bro steven, i think you replied the wrong person.. biggrin.gif i'm more into hyper silver tongue.gif
btw bro steve, since you've been driving hyundai cars longer than most of us here, i believe you will be the best person to advise on the cost of spare parts and service. would appreciate your advise on the availability and also the 'cost' of parts. With so many 3s centres being setup by SD, can we assume that there will be better availability (and cheaper) parts?

anyway.. bro bufung.. how is your decision like?? biggrin.gif i have removed one option from my list liao.. the FD1.8 no more stock due to the impending arrival of the 2012 civic in June  shakehead.gif
*
Opss .. sorry .. wrong replied. doh.gif

I don't actually have any major warranty claim issue to begin with.
Drove my Accent for 7 years and no major issues which I need to claim warranty.
I went to a small dealer shop and they are very fast in delivering the goods or spare parts too.
They didn't asked me to come back next week cause need to wait for the parts.

As for the quality of the services, cannot compare to T & H professionalism over at their 3S lo.
Hyundai SC is picking up since the first day I was there. Not as good as T & H but at least they are improving.
Never been to Hyundai 3S and try before so i can't comment on that.

Small dealers more flexible and I can talk with the main mechanic and boss (discounts!!) so I know what is happening to my car. If you are really close to the mechanic like i did, I brought my own air filters, air cond filters (believe me this is not cheap at all, center charges 300++ I bought less than 50) break pads and some other stuff for them to change when the boss is not in. thumbup.gif whistling.gif

I have mentioned in FB that the blue in this photo looks drab and dull. Not striking enough. Maybe due to lighting and angle. That is why have to see up close. have not heard anyone gotten their santo blue. Heard from my SA there is one in HQ but not sure if he can arrange for me to view it.

Yup, not too striking to me too. A bit dull as u mentioned. hmm.gif

Do we need to do tyre balancing after getting the car ?

I find the test drive unit very noisy when speed above 80.

Any 1.8 owner change their original MC5 tyre ?
*
If u feel the alignment is out by all means u can do it bro. smile.gif

18" if u can fit into the Elantra, u need freaking slim profile tyre....

Wt this setup, every time go going through a bump or even a pot hole, u have to drive extreme slow...
A simple mistake may cost u not just the tyre.. Maybe the rim too...

Then...  U have to kful ur suspension mounting can support the force/impact for such a rim in the cash of u going throw such bump with some speed or not....

Then, not sure SD will warranty ur lower arm and drive shalf for such a size rim or not...  But for sure, life span of the drive shalf surely shorter...

FC...  From 16 to 18...  U have to pay maybe 15-20% more? Not sure... Depend on where n how u drive too...
Compare to smaller rim, sure noisier for bigger rim.. If similar tyre...

U will change tyre more frequent too... smile.gif

Good luck man...  For the good looking....

Theory apply to good looking girl too? Lol

*correct me if I m wrong for above statement...
*
Father open tyre shop, mother open petrol station n sendiri open car accessory shop ma can do the above lo. Haha!!

My kelik very recommend that for 17". For 16" I might go for C.Drive 2 which is cheaper than Ps3 n xm2. Again kelik said c.drive 2 is very soft and almost the same as ps3 but price differs a lot.

Whereas C.Drive 2 is around 300 or so.
