yes personal experience is really subjective. I, myself; having driven a Wira 1.5 gl for the past 8 years; found the elantra's steering a tad too light during low speeds. 1 handed parking will be a breeze.. having said that, i've also driven my mum's 12 year old Toyota Corolla SEG 1.6 and i found that whenever i go above 130, the steering is as light as feather, can hold it with 1 finger.. its a ball shrinking experience..    I'm not sure if my SA claims (whereby the steering will gradually become heavier as the speed increase) for the elantra steering is true. I couldnt reach cruising speeds during my test drive. Maybe you can enlighten me on that. btw.. your hyper silver looks great. i'm targetting this color as well. I want to see it in metal before making the final decision

still find it difficult to get pass the fact it cost 14K more than the Forte for a lesser engine displacement, less gadgets

and drives like a toy and feels floaty. and significant tire noise.

someone commented it'll actually tighten the steering above 90KM/H, really wonder how much? and does it improve on stability?

but i really like the design.... feels like really paying 112K for the design

During test drive.. I do try to nego a u turn ~50 to 60kmh I guess... Felt the vsm is in action n counter steer a bit.  Everyday I went home n there is a straight road.. I'm driving 90 n the steering doesn't feel light at all..

My previous ride is gen2 with stiff suspension.. cornering is damn good. For elantra... I felt there's a slight understeer on the same corner I attack with my gen2.overall I still able to adapt on my elantra..

Elantra Auto 1.6 HighSpec. The car already arrived, waiting for car plate and some legal procedure >.<

But somehow seems like a lot people have dissatisfaction on the Elantra.

Hmmm dunno lah.. tats was the test drive car..mayb i was too "kan cheung" and hold the steering tight tight kua...  

This is the 1st time i owe a auto tranny.. a few time when i try to over take lorry or slow poke car.. my gut want me to down shift but then "hey.. this is auto.. press the gas pedal fast!!!".. a few times I was hesitate during over take.. bahaya bahaya..haha..suddenly miss my gen2 manual tranny 

That's the point.. The look contra wt the performance n handling.. Lol

How often you speed beyond the speed limit? Not a problem here. Floaty? Don't think so wor. Cause I'm a fat ass.
How many same class car give you superb stock tyre? I don't think so too... So no problem right

Don't get us wrong, we are discussing and exchange feedback, most of the owner love their rides. A lease we get no serious malfunction even on test units 

in that case, 40litre can travel 710km = 17.7km per liter. Thats really good
can other owner confirm this?

btw, open up your boot, pull down your rear seat, pull out all the "carpet" from boot, then inspect the bolt that is fastening the rear seat.
mine found rusty, cleaned and sprayed with anti-rust..........

didnt managed to check when collect car, too excited i guess....

Venue can go Pyramid park valet then go drink Chatime. Haha!!! Or go Scott Garden park outside. Saw a few K5s when I was there few weeks back.

They can only lock on a unit after your loan approve but I heard some one told me SA can actually lock on even before the loan is approve.

So after lock on the unit, u need to wait 1.5months max is what i heard unless they have extra allocation around
