QUOTE(etseleste @ May 8 2012, 11:56 AM) I have mentioned in FB that the blue in this photo looks drab and dull. Not striking enough. Maybe due to lighting and angle. That is why have to see up close. have not heard anyone gotten their santo blue. Heard from my SA there is one in HQ but not sure if he can arrange for me to view it. Pls take note cars like this would have parked under the sun in the rain for a while. Whatever shine it has is gone. Just bring it to any detailer shop to bring the shine back. Best is the see OTR as owners would already have done that.Added on May 8, 2012, 12:50 pm QUOTE(mav3rick @ May 8 2012, 11:52 AM) ehehe bro steven, i think you replied the wrong person.. I thought BF already decided accord liao? Don't confuse me labtw bro steve, since you've been driving hyundai cars longer than most of us here, i believe you will be the best person to advise on the cost of spare parts and service. would appreciate your advise on the availability and also the 'cost' of parts. With so many 3s centres being setup by SD, can we assume that there will be better availability (and cheaper) for parts? anyway.. bro bufung.. how is your decision like?? QUOTE(Sh@rty 5 @ May 8 2012, 09:19 PM) common stuff people do when collect new car BF, that's y I still so out of place in the fb group. They keep talking bout pimp their rides, while I talk about maintenance. 1 ) Tint 2) Coil mat 3 ) Pedal lock for security purpose ( too bad not out yet for elantra ) 1 , 2 settled by SA. 3 already have my trusty stop lock pro. Will not go down those permanent installed locks (locktech was the hot item then). The rattle it makes 6 mths down the road can kill me. I know, coz I had 2 units installed on different cars. |

No wonder ppl comment elantra floating la, steering not responsive la. Bcoz they upgraded from potong.
My bro drives a waja. It is undeniable very good control- lotus handling maaa. But floating wise, sure la coz potong cars damn heavy, never float. Since I am comparing with altis, no wonder I say elantra steering is heavier, and I don't feel the float. Coz they weight nearly the same. We are not comparing apple to apple. Really subjective. Haha! |

QUOTE(dcwhz83 @ May 9 2012, 11:38 AM) the standard CMC5 is a comfy and quiet tyre with good grip level... quite favourable compare to Michelin XM2 and PS3, Yoko C Drive 2... it shdnt make much difference even after u changed... so might as well keep it... remember if u trade in, u will lose quite a lot... remember all these tyre are almost same price range... LIKE. Really great info. And I thought all this while only Michelin good.GY Asy 2 are hi performance tyres... guarantee even more noisier... Advan DB is suppose to quiet tyre, but its hi performance category also... so its quiet among hi performance category... but could not be more quiet than comfort category... |
