Would be nice to reproduce the Realforce spacebar in PBT (instead of ABS) with a 3D printer. Choice of colour will be a welcome bonus.

@storm88 - If you have the equipment and are willing to do a little R&D, this PBT Realforce space bar idea could be a real hit. I know there are some challenges to overcome so that the space bar doesn't warp but it's definitely possible.

lol, there had not been even one person telling me that their keycaps need to be replace, but for my own I feel like replacing, since they are ABS,
I do not have much love for ABS keycaps, so I got myself a set of PBT when some of the original ABS are slightly worn.
the colorful thingy is personal preference, but to be honest, the one I thought I ordered is slightly darker in tone,
but they sent this one, But it kinda look good to so I didn't complain, and after uses for quite sometime,
it sink in to me, I feel that it is a good color now....

So like I say, the original ABS keycaps are slightly worn, I suggest buyer get the PBT keycaps together with the keyboard.

For my PVC figure collections, Its spontaneous, or impulsive buy for most of them,
some I like the figure because I like the story of the characters,
many of them have very striking appearances and designs, and when I first saw them online or on the shop display shelf,
I grab them.... because I missed several and they are all non-reproduction items, I do not want to miss one that I regret later.
but ever since I stuck in this Mecha Keyboard Hell, I stop going through those PVC stuffs,
and most of my "investment" went the keyboard and keycaps.

Tenkeyless. Marketing term for a keyboard which has the standard alphanumeric keys, FKeys along the top, page/up/down/etc, an inverted cursor T, but which lacks the numeric keypad for economy of space. This design has become increasingly popular over the years, as it makes positioning a mouse much easier, and many people rarely use the numeric keypad anyway.

AKA, no have numeric keypad, like CM rapid is that rite?

Storm88, sorry for out of topic but may i ask, what 3D printer are you using now?

Anybody here have experience using all white PBT/ABS keycaps?
I'm wondering whether is the maintenance to keep it clean difficult?
So tempted, but after seeing's ripster's keycaps getting so dirty within a month's usage, kinda got me scared >.<

Thanks for sharing your experience . Is the white look worth the trouble of having to clean it . I do have to admit it looks very good compared to the more 'safe' black

Added on May 31, 2012, 2:13 amAnyway, I find my Ducky 9008s space bar is a little different than the other keys.
Anyone with the same experience? The space feels a little ... bad quality, not entirely bad but just not as good. STILL better than membrane's spacebar if you ask me.
