At the time I got my board, the forecasted SRP for it is sub RM200, to a maximum of RM220. Which I think still reasonable consider quite similar pricing in SG and China.
But if the RM249 stated just now is really the SRP, then yes, it is indeed too high.
the MK3800 is not distributed by us. For me, MSRP of RM249 is indeed quite high...
So it truly exist I never thought that this mecha keyboard need a lubing. Can I use WD-40?
It's NOT ADVISABLE to use WD40 at your mechanical keyboard.
However it "looks" like it will lubricate your parts, but it's not conductive resistant. So... u know what i mean

Really? juz planned to get ducky Year of the dragon..hope will be no prob later
Some end user/ dealer will call me to ask me this question about the sound from space bar. Actually it's not a big problem as that's the sound from the stabilizer. Applying some mechanical gel will lubricate the part and the sound will gone

Group buying heavy stuff like keyboards from Taobao, you don't really save much. When the item reach Malaysia, some postage fees is still required.
My brother lives in Bei Jing right now if he willing to help out or we let him to earn some pocket money, that will far save more money than thru tao bao agent
feeling weird now..becoz my bro say my ducky shine kb consume lots of electric current..lol
not really a Mechanical keyboard consumes not even hit 1 Ampere. However shining has LEDs but tat doesnt make them take more power.
A USB power supplies max 0.5A; while PS/2 provide max 275mA. So you think how much of power the keyboard drawn from ur system?

it doesn't consume much actually. if you still worried about it causing the raise of your bills etc, just disable the backlit when not in use. pretty simple right?
btw, an info for dk9008 shining users:
if you're using your duck for games like o2jam, you will most likely died in spamming if you're using PS/2. reason? could be because of PS/2 doesn't supply that much amount of power for your input. that's my personal experience of course.
It's a possible, provided IF LED has been switched on. Better use USB which it has 6KRO features

O2jam needs nkro, so if consumers are thinking to get bling bling keyboard and expecting ps/2 can do the job for nkro, better avoid it, else you will die like mad rofl.
Me and lucidlts discussed about it before, could be ps/2 not enough power to provide power to the LED on all of the keys, and thus making delays when you try to spam keys repeatly or so on.
I understand what you and Lucidlt tried to say, no worries.
bcaz i do play o2jam too, i experience the game with 9008s, but so far my it still serve me well I use the KB with USB which i am doing quite fine without any hassle. @2jam plays 7 keys and for me i stick to the default setting, so far 6KRO no problem for me.
But i agreed that the possibility is for trouble ass the PS/2 only provide max 1.5 watts.
