i found that even 600cc is too powerful (superbike i mean like kawasaki 636), if naked bike usual not tuned for high end horsepower like er6n or xj6 which is excellent for beginners

What your opinion if student like me (second year degree) want to have ninja 250?
I prefer buy cash, bcoz might less complicated...
Right now have RM9K in bank... still working as part timer..
Plus Monthly got allowance from scholar Rm600 per month..
Is it suit with me to buy this bike?

Such an informative thread and not revived? Sorry, but can I know, is it worth it for a Honda CB500? Im very new in this bike but my passion has been with me since high school. As much as I prefer a good roar from an Inline 4, but Cb500 is only 2...=(

2 inline is much cheaper maintainence than 4 inline in terms of engine..
and much better FC..
and remember that the new honda CB500 is more towards street bike...not for race
The only thing i like about 4 inline is the engine sound..

if you can, wait for CBR650 series.. affordable inline 4.
