Date of transaction: 30/4/2012

Details of the complaint : User mentioned on his thread that his HTC EVO 3D included a 2 year SiS warranty and also the standard HTC battery charger.

I purchased the phone by COD on the 30th of April for RM800. The package that was given to me was the phone together with a NON original charger which I have been informed will damage the phone's battery.

When the phone was brought to the HTC Centre to verify its authenticity, I was informed that the phone was not an SiS distributed phone

and that the phone did not include any warranty.

This is completely fraudulent and misleading and I would hope that someone from this forum will take some action

as I have just been cheated into paying alot of money for what could possibly be a faulty fake 'smartphone'.
Kindly take this as a plea for justice, to whomever is reading it.

Its him. Now he is saying he will check with SiS and 'get back to me ASAP'.

I understand its my fault for not demanding the warranty card on the spot during the transaction, but the fella said he lost it.

He said he just went to Imbi plaza htc centre and they confirmed he has 2 yr warranty.

At first i told him I didnt want to deal like this because there is no assurance, but then he said that there was another buyer waiting at the same time.

So i took the phone. I am going to make a police report and i will also share this scumbags IC here:

because i didnt trust the seller la, why else?

at first i wanted to keep his IC for assurance, but he didnt agree, so i took photo la.

Any MMU Cyberjaya students here who recognize this guy?
