from wat i know,SIS only provide 1 year waranty,if u want to add another year u hv to pay extra. and for the next buyer to enjoy the extended waranty the seller need to transfer the ownership to him.

this is serious topic as most buyer will change phone after 1 year or less and after the seller sold his phone and the buyer hv problem with it n took it back to claim waranty bt was rejected bcos the original buyer didnt transfer the ownership then its bye bye to ur waranty. if the seller still can be contacted then its ok provided he's willing to go thru the hassle bt if the seller change his number then its bye bye. who's making the profit and who's the idiot here?

great info, its actually true.
not to just HTC but other phones as well.
seller usually state "warranty card unfilled"
this confused buyer, as it is like saying
that the phone actually have warranty.
even if it doesn't have warranty anymore.

I usually never fill up the 2nd warranty card.

The OP retailers will help you to do the 2nd year warranty.

The warranty card should've been filled at the shop.

To be safe, ask for receipt for OP sets.
