errr btw is arena net retarded?
there are more US players than EU players.
but, less US servers, more EU servers? dafuq?
18 NA (USA) servers
24 EU servers

1. not all servers have the same capacity
2. server allocation is based on their internal statistic, so pretty much they know the amount which is suitable

well they are probably right.
but for my own experience with the first public beta weekend event.

what i saw was
- US servers, all red color. full, high, etc.
- EU servers, all green color, low population
*
it would depend on timezones as well...
EU gaming scene is very large if u follow most compeittive gaming out there thus it is nt a surprised they get more than NA...
besides, those from EU may login to NA servers as well so what u see may not be true...

imho, the servers are seperated based on the following: -
- the pre-release buyers
- stress test requirements for each server
- localization (language etc)

there are a lot of factors involved and they are the one having the data whereas we could only speculate...

Still found Human > Sylvari, they need more work on the story and contents hmm... Sux playing a necro, totally don't know what I was doing... zzz Back to Human elem.  whistling.gif

went necro for the first time and gosh what a good profession...
really tanky with the right spec and with it, i am able to hold a capture point for so long...
the amount of conditions u can stack is pretty insane one done right and most newbies in pubs never had any condition removal so its like jz faceroll to kill them =.=

overall quite impressed with it and considered playing it for release after the nerf to ranger =(

probably like assassin in GW Faction, quite hard to master lol
I am using GTX260 only, a few times frame drop, but most of the time it ran fine

for thief i went the glass cannon route and its so freaking fun...
only problem is that u cant really go in and deal finishing blow to ur opponent without losing half or more of ur life...
basically it is hiding in the shadows, opening up on a single target and reposition urself from the next...
very different from the other prof imho (i played all of them in PvP)...

i still find Mesmer the hardest to master as you need to play really differently...
and playing against mesmer is soo annoying especially good ones or when they are not alone...
the pistol skill 4 of mesmer really offload a truckload of damage...

guardian is still my comfort profession and ppl QQ about the low life too much as it has the highest survival rate of all the prof i had played...
the reactive cooldowns for it is just insane especially when u put in tome of courage in the elite...

the question now is which to play for release lolx...
can't decide between guardian or ranger (the others are all taken by my frens/ guildmates)

41. Yes. In sPvP, if you use the right traits + shield/mace, you can basically stand on (defend) a capture point like a boss, a bit challenging if there's 4v1. That will buy enough time for your teammates to back u up.
As for PvE, GS can kill mobs real fast. (If you have Precision and Power stacked, even faster). Can take 2-3 higher lvl mobs(and veteran) if u switch between shield/mace and other weapons. You have to time your block right and keep symbol of faith up.
They even have 3D screenshot in previous BWE. But not in this BWE3 build, i believe it will be back @ launch.

with the tome of courage, u can tank sooo well...
the same for the dungeons as well (am lvl 46 on my guardian)...
my setup for sPvP is: scepter + focus, sword + shield with 2 summon weapons, retreat and tome of courage spec-ed to 30-0-0-10-10-20

thumbup.gif Tome of courage is the shit ;D Heal spams + light of deliverance

yeah, no reason to use the other tomes/ elites lol...

the GW2dev guy setup for guardian is very different from mine but his can really chase and burst/ chain cc a target well...
MH sword's blink with the meditation blink into 2H weapon swap is really cool...
was wathcing him last nite and really learn a lot...

i guess this is why i love GW2, every different spec is really viable and depends on ur playstyle a lot...

aye, thanks for the feedback! well i played a warrior pve in the first public beta weekend event. i think survivability rate not very good lulz but yeah damage out after level 11 greatly increased due to pumping trait that increases precision means more critical hits with rifle.

so basically guardian pve can tank like a boss against most pve mobs? just out heal out tank out survive them?
and deng i just realized i have been playing my guardian pvp with 10 less trait points spent. doh.gif

Can take some damages, but definitely not tanking like other mmo.  sweat.gif

@takkicom, yes! Plus, you still gain skill points after 80 like in GW1. Skill points are needed for some craft or forging too (Legendary items)

Edit : They updated it on wiki yesterday. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Skill_point

guardian is all about reactionary defense...
timing the aegis the right time and blocks will be the key between dying or not...

u cant outheal damage unfortunately

remember: there is no holy trinity is GW2... if u dun dodge, aegis or block; u will still die as fast as any other profession out there
