Same here. Just got in touch with my SA - he said everything is in progress. Proton really messed up the delivery this time round la. Considering your car now...but no offence - I just can't take the centre console. It's too...ergh. Really can't take it.



The main problem is Proton did not anticipate the high number of bookings. They should have known better. Sudden spike in demand, and they can't meet it. Very poor prep imo. The S&M team should have a circular to all branches and dealers stating that there will be delays. Instruct all SA's to get in touch with their respective clients mentioning that there will be delays. With a valid reason. Not just keep mum and keep everyone on edge.

They don't have to rush the production. They should have anticipated the market better (heck, send someone into forums like this to gauge the market). Failing which, they should have kept all prospective buyers, and more importantly, pre-bookers in the loop.

Above all, the should value us pre-bookers because we are their vanguard. How many flames have we quelled? How many unbelievers have we turned? Instead of prioritising the pre-bookers, they lump us together with the others.

Tell me then, what's the point of us pre-booking the car, if we aren't able to get it sooner? I don't give two fucuks if some dato/tan sri/tun gets the car first due to connections. What I wanna know is, what the heck is the bloody delay, and why aren't we being updated. Don't blame the SA - blame the people who should have given them training.

Pre-bookers mostly decided to put their faith in Proton - again. Don't let that faith waver. I'm beginning to wonder if it's even worth it anymore. A good car is one thing - horrible service is another.

EDIT: OMG. Just got another text from my SA. Why the heck is getting a loan so hard back in Malaysia? Dammit. Things were so much easier back in UK. Can I use my credit history there to get me a god damned loan here? Bloody hell. No wonder people who come back wanna ciao like they got their assess on fire. Fuming. Fucuk this shit man. What the hell. Haih.

cant be they din anticipate the high numbers as DSZ said in one of the interviews, 4200 units a month is in line with their expectation. they should have some buffer stock before launching so theoritically, even if book on launching day, should be wait less than 1 month.
but of cos, maybe they already start make the car for overseas market? or something regarding the DRB Hicom takeover auditing that slow down the line unexpectedly?
sad thing proton have no announcement and let people speculate about retune ECU, mounting problem, paint supplier problem, etc. their marketing/PR dept really fail big time.

Got my car CFE solid white about 3 hours ago,first thing i can confirm is the lag is less now n is dam super quiet but some rattling sound from dash board but i detect myself already n everything is fine but when i drive out its raining so have to wash afterward.

baru lps call proton i care... die kata booking awal sebelum launch pun kalau loan x approved nama takkan ada dalam sistem. loan approved baru nama boleh masuk dalam sistem. cilakak..tak gunalah booked awal... dia kata lagi 1-2 bulan baru dapat kereta...sebulan paling awal dari tarikh loan approved...

Holy Molly... Is it just me or is it just turned damn hot in here? I asked my SA just now at Setapak Proton Edar. Just ask him can test drive? He said only the iAFM+CVT available. The CFE one accident... Wonder the one that has been circulated in FB earlier..

Agreed on why ppl tend to go outside once they came back to Malaysia. All this bureaucracy make me sometimes wanna puke..

However, the spec for this car is so good to pass up. Then I guess there's no way other than to wait patiently..
