Its really hard to find any difference between hydrogenic and ressurection.
I tried both of them recently, the diff that I found is the boot animation and the camera UI, that's all.

The camera in resurrection seems more dumb IMO.

Once open, if you tap the shutter, it just snap without focusing.
Need to tap the screen only it focus.
After every picture, need to tap screen only it focus.

If just press shutter, it will just snap without focusing.
Very weird but true.

Maybe my installation prob? Not sure.

Guys, I have a strange problem. Have this happen to you guys before? If so please advice.

Me and my gf using checkrom. So far its great.
But lately, my s2 got s problem. The volume is very low. Even on maximum media volume it too soft. After checking, I notice the sound comes out from the earpiece on top of the screen, instead of the main speaker at the back of the phone.

How can this happen? So weird!
The only way to fix I'd press *#0*# , choose receiver test, then for speaker test.
Then the sound will comeout from the speaker at the back.

I clear cache and dalvik cahe' but problem persists,

This issue repeats after every reboot.
How to solve this? Please help:-(

By the way, aokp aosp seems no FM radio app.
How you guys live without it? Got replacement app from market?
Or FM radio is a touch wiz thing?

Nono' I don't mean online radio.
I wan FM radio app that can poke in my earphone and use it as real radio listen to Malaysian radio station, like my FM, mix FM, fly FM etc.

Oh, cos I check in play store search spirit FM, first result also called spirit FM, which is a streaming app.

Omg...the spirit FM that you guys saying is paid app, sumore so expensive. Ridiculous.
Not that I'm a cheap guy, but paying for something that was originally free kinda sucks,:-(

Galaxy nexus on aosp also don't have radio? FM non streaming radio.

Radio is nice also ma. Morning got lots of nice shows. Especially loves those gotcha things. Very funny.
Enjoyable when eating breakfast. I think no one carries radio around anymore, so having this FM radio feature on the phone is a great plus.
Without it, minus one function from my smart phone, makes it alittle dumb. Which is not cool.

Use mobile Odin, it can root for you even if its stock rom.

remeber the nexus prime? eventually it turned out to be a weaker dual core and camera than sgs2, and called galaxy nexus. fail to live up the hype.

have a feeling sgs3 might be a normal phone. (similar, but improved features)
hard to imagine any NEW stunning features like S pen. maybe water proof? it needs to have something great that makes sgs2 and other current phones look obsolete, else its just another phone.

but still, it will sell millions. samsung reputation is too great.
almost same status with apple already. go into any shopping mall, all samsung banners. even my grandma have the impression samsung make good phones.

poor matrix has a G version one.
and has the impression that S2 always hang and overheat.
hard to change that thought already, first impression is important.

its samsung fault also.
samsung is very evil for releasing a G version.
Moral of the story, if wana buy S3, hurry buy on launch date, if not will have i9300G come out then sad case already.

3. phone goes into deep sleep mode when not in use. deep sleep mode very save power one. if got wake lock, means phone cant enter deep sleep. constantly awake although not doing anything, causing big battery drain.

GPS only work outdoors.

even out doors, GPS not instant. need wait. fastest i get is 30 seconds, longest about 5 minutes.
depends whether your car moving, weather, tinted window, etc.

by the way, tinted window seems affect alot, in friends car that got fully tinted window, hard to get signal, open window abit, then can get d.

maybe phone is doing media scanning. should be normal.

not to worry, in ics, under developer option, can change the animation speed.
set the scale to 0.5x, super fast animation.

you customize the animation speed. or can even turn it off all together.
but no animation kindda plain. for me as long animation 0.5 -1 seconds is ok.

if you feel iOS dizzy, check out WP7. so sweat,
just to get into messaging app, i must see the tiles fly here and there so many times. ><

just now when walking, got a stranger S2 ring, its the default samsung ringtone. but whats strange is that got female voice read out the called name, sometime like "incoming call from XXX"

our phone can do that? i didn't know, is it default feature or need install app?

Rm2k to swap s2 with a new phone with these improvements seems no worth to me.
Better buy any quad core tablet, get a new device instead of minor upgrade to the phone
Why no news on tablet? The note 10.1 is Samsung best tablet for this year?
