Since our build is the same as Singapore...

My phone i9100G is still on GB 2.3.6, just got it back from SME factory repair (freeze & overheating problems) and so far haven't encounter any hang problems yet.

Now want to test if ICS makes the phone really stable. Or should I turn to the dark side? hehe. The force inside me insist of keeping the warranty.

v1.0 & v3.0:

    Download rom from the link below.
    Extract the zip. You will find a folder.
    Copy the folder to /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/
    Go to CWM recovery
    Go to backup/restore option
    Wipe Data/Factory Reset
    Wipe Cache
    Select SuperROM_v1.0_I9100G(for v1.0) or select SuperROM_v3.0 (for v3.0)
    Do wipe cache, wipe dalvik-cache and fix permissions
    Reboot

it seems that app lock also not working very well on thebyani 4.1

i can access all those app that had been protected password only prompt if i lock the screen when accessing lock app

Is these are the steps that i have to do?
1.unzip GaLaXyRoM v5.zip

2.copy to /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/GaLaXyRoM v5

3.go to cwm backup ur current rom

4.restore GaLaXyRoM v5

5.reboot.

i saw some of the custom ROMS are still in ics 4.03. for me this version still got some GB options.

i prefer 4.04 which is totally different.

did you guys notice any significant differences between 4.03 and 4.04?

i had created a filter with list of app that will be on schedule froze and defrost

how do i backup the setting or at least the filter list?

The thing is, did he flash any custom kernel at all before try to flash the rom. I'm afraid that he rooted his phone with doomlord tool only and then want to flash rom straight away.
