Probably i dont quite understand CVT much, i personally dont like it lol. But i felt the car very hard to move, even when the turbo kicks in.

msian in general are very used to normal AT gearbox. very hard to train an old dog....

anyway since this days the gearbox are all so f smart can adapt to driving style etc... its probably just a matter of training the gearbox n ecu to fit your driving style. this is the case with many newer car.. even those like waja...

For me, I personally feel its faster (my gut and feel) than my last test drive with a Forte 1.6sx, and my current car, which is an old wira 1.6xli manual. I didn't like Forte's 1.6sx performance but loved everything else about it, but it felt slower than my wira, so I thought its something to do with auto I suppose.

Not a fan of CVT either, especially on my bro's Lancer GT. On the other hand, I loved Forte 2.0 sx performance. Feels like it smokes the Lancer GT.
*
the 1.6 Forte SX is underpowered i'll tell u that. I smoked a few LGTs with my Forte at still a few times. I love to drag race with my housemate's LGT lol sampai die xmau.. Yeah i still think conventional auto torque convertor gearbox > CVT in terms of acceleration. If wanna compare FC also about the same la. 7.5-7.8L/100km average drive.

Official figures for the preve is 8.4l/100km.

its not fair to blame the cvt alone for fuel consumption...

fuel consumption depends alot on engine, style of driving, weight, aerodynamic, etc etc...

I can comfirm the boot can be opened remotely by pressing and holding the unlock button for 3 or 5 secs. (cant remember)

If you wanna do performance mod, get the IAFM+ manual.

The CFE variant is almost at the limit of the CVT's torque tolerance range.

Yeah, so for a 1.6 car you get (presumably) 2.0 performance, but you gotta pay for it. In D mode, the FC should be better.

This remind me a question - is the Preve cvt same like e.g Invecs III kind of adaptive transmission, will adapt to driver driving behaviour hence adjustment?
