Hi guys, how do you all find between KEF Q and Mordaunt short mezzo series?

I'm now in dilemma of choosing between Q or mezzo.

Most of the user review found for KEF is very good but a little draw back by What's Hifi reviews.

I'm looking of the Q700, currently using Yamaha AV which I found not commons in this thread. So wonder how us the match between these two brands.

I'm interested in Q700, I'm from sarawak.

Eyeing for X300A Desktop HiFi, for small room. Overkill ? Also, is it already available here ?

X300A ～just Availability mid-January in UK..

Not sure how it match but I tested the Yamaha A1010 in my HT room by just swapping with Denon 4311. All 5 of us noticed that 1010 is seemingly brighter than 4311. A matter of personal preference and not to match a bright sounding spkr with it. Else, ears piercing HF.

is there any other method to reduce it's brightness with Yamaha AVR? like cabling or others?

too bad I like the KEF Q700 appearance, quite high review from most of the user found in internet.

Currently using Q300 with yamaha aventage 3010 avr... biwire them using van den hul teatrack hybrid... ok not that bright for me...

VDH is well known to warm sounds so for your Q300 on your Yamaha,definitely no issue to the bright side.
I have a friend test a few speaker cables to match his KEF Q700 on his Onkyo and speaker cables make a huge difference between warm or brighter sound output.

Appreciate if anyone can PM me the expected price (retail/street) of KEF X300A. Tq

Has any kakis here audition the LS50 ? Any street price to share as a reference?
My sources say now in SInagpore is $1800 included GST. A bit expensive though but has good demands.

Just about to ask why no one discussed the LS50 in this thread Hopefully got chance to listen to it...

Go to Perfect Hifi in AmCorp Mall if you wanted to audition the LS50. Good speaker in terms of tone & timbre but slightly lacking in weight for the presentation of instruments (maybe it was the power of the amp used during the audition). However, for a speaker that will cost you near to RM5k, believed that there are plenty of options. IMHO.

anyone here had tested KEF Q600c vs Klipsch RC62 II center in comparison?
i am keen to know which one is better.

I got a chance to audition it with a full naim audio setup and it is joy to my ears. The detail and dynamic of the music is well seperated. Front vocal and background music is well define.
I am sure when u get to listen to it, you will LOVE it.

I am thinking of buying KEF T150 with Yahama VSX473.
Anyone tried this combo before ?
Anywhere to buy KEF T150 other than Perfect Hifi ?
