QUOTE(trisx @ Apr 22 2013, 09:34 PM) some weird problem with my mobo now, whenever i power down and left the AC plug ON, i cant switch on my PC the next day. Everything light / start & reset button are lighted up, but when I hit start button, nothing powering up. Then i need to switch off my AC plug and reset CMOS, then only can power up my PC. Any idea guys? I have no idea either but try re-flash your bios. This post has been edited by spdboyz: Apr 22 2013, 10:26 PM

Will a different in ram latency effect processor overclocking stability?
Today I just sold my i5 3570k(Malaysia) and bought another i5 3570k(Costa Rica) hoping to found a better chip than my previous 3570k. In the end, it is just the same. Need 1.356v for 4.4Ghz.
My ram is Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz cl8 2x4GB. Will changing the latency from c8 to c9 improved stability?

QUOTE(owikh84 @ May 4 2013, 10:02 AM) Higher CAS and other timings if set correctly generally will improve stability, but at lower performance. A quick alternative to cut down the vCore is to grab the ASRock OC Formula and expect to get at least 0.06v lower than any Asus mobo. On your current board, you might try to increase the CPU PLL volt from 1.80v to 1.85v/1.90v. You might get lower vCore without hurting the performance. My chip is still not stable at 4.5Ghz even after increasing CPU PLL volt to 1.90v and Vcore at 1.40x. At 1.33x Vcore, 4.4Ghz runs perfectly stable. Is my chip is limited to 4.4Ghz? QUOTE(owikh84 @ May 6 2013, 05:27 PM) No limit by rights any K Ivy can OC 4.5Ghz easily. I guess your chip loves more voltage. Pump more vCore until it stable. More Vcore->my H80 can't take it anymore This post has been edited by spdboyz: May 6 2013, 10:11 PM
