Bro try compare 2400 CL11 & 2200 CL10. I think 2400 slow by a bit only. Find stable setting for 2400 then tight the timing. smile.gif
*
Will do. But lupa the timing setting already. also lupa to do stress test for 2400 speed yesterday doh.gif but i can say, 2200 C10 smoother than 2400 C11 or C12 IINM but the correct figure must be find out first. I think my ram chip not smoothly 2400 capable. Can I run PI with 8M calculation instead 32M? Got any significant diff bench setting?

-EDITED-

My bad luck, 2400 cant boot up my system anymore even at C12 and 1.65 vdimm. Roll back to 2200 C10 then cry.gif

And I want to ask if i'm using kingston genesis n right now at 2400 cl11-13-13
and i put sammy green with that spec, should be any incompatible?
*
Previously run my ex hyperX 1600 @ 2000 with CL10. Cant go any higher sweat.gif very limit oc for my hyper rams chip.
Wanna try pair with my Sammy Green with same timing C10 @ 2000 tonite
Run speed 1866 with timing 10-10-10-24 @ 1.5v (tightest timing and speed that make its stable) but cant boot up at 2000 speed and beyond even loosen a bit its timing. Might be not compatible voltage as Sammy run only used as low as 1.55v at 2200 but HyperX 1600 run at 1.65v. Set 1.65v also cant boot my system.

Any news when ur 'green' chip will be arrived bro?

Edited - If bought ASRock Z77 Extreme3 from Newegg, will get RipjawX 1600 CL9 2x4GB for free brows.gif

Better test ur chip for stability bro. gaming INMM, not cpu incentive.

nice offer there!! Black friday?

IDK about max vdimm for each ram either but normally DDR3 powered by using 1.65v vdimm

Ur chip not really suck bro as long as it can be run on 4.4GHz without any prob. Anyway, how much ur exactly vCore?

On Formula OC, 5.0GHz used same vCore as M5E bro? what about temp accuracy?

I don't have any DMM or measuring device to test so don't know how accurate are the voltages and temps.
For now you just can compare LinX between ASRock OC Formula & Asus MVE

3770K @ 5.0GHz
ASRock: 1.416v
Asus: 1.456v
*
Means ASRock used a bit less vCore setting than Asus and didnt accurate?

Delid done. run naked but core temp higher than before delid. 32-47-40-35 figure something like that. core 1 and 4 running ok with low temp but core 2 and 3 seems like overheat

Might be. Tigher the screws but still can goyang2 the cooler sweat.gif as long as can wake up after delid, should be ok. But seems like got another prob

Mount IHS back + MX4 and 4.5GHz hit 100°c max. Totally my chip cant run too high as hot temp. Replacing higher performance cooling system might be solve this prob sweat.gif

QUOTE(arerife @ Dec 7 2012, 05:16 AM)
are motherboard effect RAM timing?
Many said 2200Mhz at CL10 @ 1.55v
I can't make it stable. EVEN 10-11-11-28.
Very frustrated right now. cry.gif

I can run 2133MHZ at 10-10-10-24 .

Are the motherboard effect the timing?
Because this asus p8p67 only support maximum 2200Mhz RAM.
And Sammy green is not on the ram support list.
*
Mine not stable 2200 at CL10 vDimm 1.55v but stable if bump a bit its vDIMM to 1.6v with same timing and speed even 9-10-10-28

But now just running at 2000 9-10-10-24 at 1.5v for safe used and 24/7. Found 2000 CL9 smoother than 2200 CL10 while running Photoshop CS5

I can run 2000 at 9-10-10 also with 1.52v
But have you try 2400?
because im used old motherboard that can't support 2400Mhz. sweat.gif
*
Tried before with timing 11-12-12-28 at 1.6v but didnt tried any bench and stability test. Dont know it cant be stable or not with this timing

Bro, have try bump a bit ur ram vDimm at 2200 CL10?

wow, cl11 still now bloody loose right?

Yeap, 1.6v
But here's the different I found between my board and asrock z77 extreme 4.
I can go 2200Mhz at 10-10-10-24 @ 1.55v
I think z77 is better then p67.
But when comes to processor, I still don't test my chip yet.

But my friends 3570k have sweet spot on 4.4Ghz i may said.
Can't hit 4.5Ghz under 1.3v.
But that time already 5am, malas nak oc.
Maybe today juice up 1.3XX for 4.6Ghz.
And he's using 500w power rock.
I'm bit scared to push more.

Any suggestion?
*
You may try its on other mobo like z77 exreme4 to see whether ur ram can push more or not.

Ur fren using z77 extreme4?

I already tried the sammy green on asrock z77 and can managed to get 10-10-10-28 for 2200Mhz.
But on my p8p67 I can't cry.gif
Yeah, he using z77 extreme 4.

Yeah, i already tried on asrock z77 extreme 4 with 3570k, the timing getting tightest then on my p8p67 board.
*
Might be compatibility prob. Try update ur P8P67 board to new BIOS.
