QUOTE(turbocharged @ Apr 24 2012, 01:01 PM) rm1000.....better keep the money for adjustable I wonder if Potong's modded bumpers do the above as well as the Mitsu version? Not that I wanna hit people.chassis foaming.....er.....i always tot our RISE body is very good already. its not like wira/waja kind of old era car. we seriously dont need that, yet. =================== Lancer The 2007 Mitsubishi Lancer is built around Mitsubishi’s next-generation RISE unibody design (GS platform). The RISE body structure disperses energy loads during side and rear crashes and controls distortion, enhancing occupant protection and also protecting the fuel system during a rear impact. The highly rigid structure makes extensive use of high-tension steel. It features straight "front side members" with an octagonal "cross-section" and a three-leg support structure, as well as increased application of both high-strength (590Mpa) and ultra-high strength (980MPa) steel. Compared to the previous-generation Lancer, torsional rigidity has been increased by 56 percent, and bending rigidity is up by 50 percent. The side pillars, roof joints and cross-car structure increase collision protection. A collapsible front chassis crossmember and a device to help prevent brake-pedal retraction during a collision contribute to better impact energy management. The pedestrian impact protection has also been increased, with new shock-absorbing hood, cowl and fender structures and shock-absorbing hood hinges. QUOTE(XCInspire @ Apr 24 2012, 01:31 PM) Mr Chan... ur avanza is a front wheel drive... That Oh Shit will happen if u lepas throttle or press brakes... but I assume it happened too fast to correct (knowing the speed this demon drives...) Boss, Avanza FR wor. That's why it's such a coffin on wheels. That pic refer more to rear wheel drive. For front wheel drive, u shud straighten the steering and throttle up to pull the car away from oversteering situation.. Yes, need balls of steel to throttle up when car is drifting... natural reaction is brake... Plus I think my left front sus mounting broke the moment I oversteered lol. Thus kenot help edi. Wasn't travelling that fast pun, 90-100 oni. This post has been edited by Eiraku: Apr 24 2012, 01:34 PM |

Car no airbags asso, I had fun gripping the wheel all the way around the highway lol. This post has been edited by Eiraku: Apr 24 2012, 02:06 PM |

Movie cancel arr? Chiest.
Anyhows, my rear right window has just developed a weird thud the moment you open it or close it fully. Like THUD-zetttttttt open and zetttttt-THUD close. Wasn't there before last I checked, and other mirrors have a less pronounced thud. Rubber problem? Check with SC? This post has been edited by Eiraku: Apr 24 2012, 11:46 PM |

BTW, went back to ecotint USJ to see what they can do for the "bubbles" on my demister, seems their official stance is that it's not covered under their warranty - as it's "not their fault".
Doubleyuuu-Teeee-Effff. Well, taking into consideration that peeling it off might damage the demister, I agreed on letting them try to "make it better" manually (which didn't really do much). Might bring it up with the SC later, though I think they'd either say "it's normal" or tell me to go back to Ecotint. I'll try out my luck with some of the other Ecotint branches this weekend though, just to see if they could "actually" do something about it. QUOTE(T630 @ Apr 25 2012, 11:13 PM) Wor, somebody went on and got serious eh.Lemme guess: ![]() AND ![]() Hmmmm. Best. BTW, I found a NICE performance mod list over at "the other group" outlining a very rational upgrade path spanning 3 stages. Very kopy-able, but I no money to kopy jor. And about the OBD, I'm more interested in the WIFI version, as I'm dependant on BT for A2DP music. This post has been edited by Eiraku: Apr 25 2012, 11:57 PM |
