apologies if this is OT... hope mod/ TS dun mind me starting the discussion here... but i guess if necessary, can start its own topic...

we have so powerful phones (quad core, etc)... but are they really maximised and really used? so far, most of the games... i dun think they need like even dual core to run, right?

maybe it's just me... but i've yet to see a game i really like that's really graphic intensive. i'm just wondering... is this really the case, or i've just not been looking hard enough... or maybe the games i like dun need such powerful processors... btw, i'm into RPG like Final Fantasy.

Needless to say, everything that is coming from HyperDevbox Studio are top notch game ports. Everything released by them are heavy weight titles that can consume up to hours of gameplay, hence the price of a full fledged game.

Just yesterday bought HueBrix, I am impressed how refreshing the gameplay is. There's also a free version available. Here is a review from AndroidPolice

This is a puzzle game that has a simple premise: fill in all the squares. You will only make it a few minutes before the cunning level design starts the slow process of melting your brain.

There are over 400 levels in HueBrix, but all of them start in basically the same way. You have a grid of white squares that need to be covered with colored lines. Just drag a path from the various starting blocks to fill in all the spaces. Before you say, "Oh, that sounds easy," let me stop you right there, cowboy. The first five or ten levels are pretty simple – you can knock them out in a couple seconds. But the difficulty ramps up quickly from there.

I don't know if I'd call any of this a "control scheme". There are no buttons, or sliders – just dragging a line. It's the simplest method of user interaction in a game, and it's instantly understandable. It took me just a few seconds of playing around to understand all I needed to know about how to beat a simple level in HueBrix. The controls do everything they need to.

HueBrix's clever simplicity extends into the graphical department as well. The game board is just a basic white square with a little dash of color. It ends up with a little bit of a modern art vibe as you fill in the white space with vibrant colors

Do you like puzzles? If you even thought about saying 'yes,' get HueBrix. It's an incredibly addictive puzzle game that is just simple enough that you don't get fatigued playing it for long periods, but challenging to the point that you don't get bored. It reminds me of Tetris a bit in that I'm playing it in my head as I go about my day, just like I did with Tetris years ago.

This is the first app I bought, I specifically setup my account just to buy FPSE happy.gif. I love PS One games, and this is the best emulator in the market, I'm tired of trying to find a cracked version for it (spoiler: there isn't any that is working properly) I just paid for it, and now I'm enjoying FF Tactics, again.
