How about REX Essential PLUS with OverDrive?

I am more particular on the overall texture, which includes ground, aircraft, enviroment. Does REX4 include all these texture as well?
*
REX only change airport runway, apron, sign, light texture and cloud, sky , thunder, sun flare, water, wave texture.
REX Essential + overdrive is ok as it come with weather program as well.

as for Zinertek Airport HD , it only change airport building texture , runway, to make default airport look beautiful,

if u want whole earth ground texture change, than FTX GLOBAL then, i suggest u start with REX first , after that check, which area u always fly, if u only fly in asia, not much detail lor, and better buy fs genesis world mesh to, you don't want see some unrealistic terrain/mesh surface.

Anyone else tried Prepar3D here? It's basically an updated version of Flight Simulator X with new bells and whistles.

I'm using the Oculus DK2 and a Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS X to play with it as it has native support(menus in VR) and while it's immersive, the current nature of VR tech currently means that it can get nauseating after 30-45mins(motion sickness).

I believe a triple monitor config is still the best way to go for car and flight sims.

I'm using the the hotas x as well with a trackir 5. The hotas x is a good value set. I was flying mostly the PMDG 737, LevelD 767 & PMDG 777 and I've decided to take a break from flying the heavies. Using the VR hardware does require some getting used to. At first, I was feeling sick using the trackir but then feeling better after a while.

I didn't realize you could get sick using the TrackIR (when i got it initially, I had a few hours marathon playing rFactor/DCS Warthog), but I guess everyone's different.

On the other hand, everyone(including me) that has put on my Oculus DK2(in any game) has felt varying levels of motion sickness. It does get better but I wouldn't recommend it because when you feel the nausea kicking in, it isn't pleasant. sweat.gif

Yeah, I was feeling nausea and dizzy in the beginning. In extreme cases, it can cause “photosensitive epileptic seizures” for some people. In my case, I tried limiting the head movement with the device and it works out fine. I haven't heard of Oculus DK2 until you mentioned it.
It might sound funny but constant use of VR device can exhibit other reaction in the real world, like when you're driving and turning the wheel and you would expect it to bank to that direction.
