Instead of protesting, why don they (students) study hard and get 1st class.. ptptn loan automatically waived..

So, for those study hard student, education is always free of charged..

aiyo, those play play one, complaint here and there.. it is an embarrassment for themselves as a student..

This will not work dude.

1. This will further longkang-drop our IPTA standard because everyone graduating will be first class. Sounds familiar? Yeah just like Matrikulasi.

2. This will generate exam oriented graduates because everyone will be fighting for A's. Again familiar? SPM. They will have no skills other than taking exam

If so many people got 1st class and ptptn has to waive the loan, I'm sure they will lose money. As a result,in the future, they will amend their policy stating all students must pay back full amount plus interest regardless of they're getting 1st class or not.

I have no problem with free education.
however the free education only apply to Government U and colleges only, not Private college and U.
But I dun agree with those who borrow dun wan payback.
instead of going for protest how about going for part time job.
IIRC, in some countries they offer part time job for the student to support their student life without disrupting their studies.
We should let them know nothing come free, you need to earn it.

this protest has showed how ignorance are students nowadays in malaysia,

There ain't such thing as free lunch in this world, behind the free lunch someone has to bear the cost of it,

if u r expecting a free tertiary education then who's going to pay all sorts of expenses in the universities,at the end the costs will be diverted to the people in this country and this resulted a heavy taxes to the people.

For example rm200 book voucher,a political candy gave by the gomen, has worsen the gomen financial deficit which is already in a critical condition and ended up we as a taxpayers got to cover up the deficit.

FYI even in developed country such as uk ,usa there is no such thing as free uni education, they nid to either get a bank loan or part time job to pay for their living and tuition fee.

So pls dun spend your time on this trivial and pointless issue and aim for a more holistic problems that faced by m'sia now,(e.g systematic corruption, economics equity, education reform, electoral reform etc) so that everyone in this country has a equal opportunity to maximize their potentials regardless what races u r, what's ur belief and where r u from as long as u work hard and play by the rules.

wat they want is free education

free education = no loan = no interest = after grad, go to work, baru buat loan sana loan sini for car, house, etc2

cancel ptptn => provide free education
thats the goal

why TS & alike cant see that?

Obviously PTPTN is a blunder that needs to be removed and the student debt has to be written off. We need to go back to the drawing board for a new and comprehensive education policy from primary to secondary and tertiary level. A new formula must be found. A formula that is best for the country and its future generation. And if the demand is of some standard and quality, it is not going to be cheap either. But going by the way the government is spending at the moment, I doubt that we do not have the money to fund a new education system.
