QUOTE(LordOfWar @ Jul 29 2006, 12:21 PM) of coz la... these are cheap bb guns at these rates, i'd rather get a paintball marker. ( imagine shooting someone at 15 pellets per second. )do u knoe how much those replicas made of steel cost? a hand gun cost rm1-2k rifle cost rm2-3k ship from japan rm200-300 to pass kastam another few hundred how to buy ohhhh? dun get me wrong~! i would love to have a gun replica ... if only they are legal here... but being in malaysia, paintball is the next closest thing to get the feel of shooting out someone. |

Seriously you guys have gone mad. If you guys want to learn more bout airsoft just go to wikipedia and do a quick search on it. On the cost of the guns, I own 2 personally and they are gas operated meaning it has a blowback system aka more like the real gun. They costs from RM300-RM500. these are from reputable companies such as Tokyo Marui, Western Arms or KSC/KWA
On rifles, there are a lot of companies but mainly from Tokyo Marui, Classic Army or ICS. Tokyo Marui is like the grand daddy of airsoft, most of their stuff is top notch but all their guns is in plastic. CA and ICS on the other hand construct their guns based on real life. So it could be in ABS plastic or metal. I got a CA G36K (one that was used by Tom Cruise in MI:3 during the bridge scene) and I only paid RM800. My friend just got an Mp5 SD6 for RM 700 in the KL area. So bout it costing bout 2-3k. Tarak la abang abang This post has been edited by jonfavian: Oct 12 2007, 05:51 AM |

I'm still in the states, so its not a problem for me to buy the guns but to bring it back (i'm cracking my head at the moment). Spent way too much on modifying it to sell it. I'm told that ppl do sell it in Malaysia but I dun have concrete contacts. More like airsoft heng tai, and they dun sell guns to the general masses cause the want to keep it low. They do not want ppl to buy then make a big fuzz bout it then down the road police are gonna hunt them down. They only sell it to ppl who are really into the sport (mad enthusiasts) and how they get the guns into the country, I'm not sure. They do organize games in kl/pj area. Paint ball is cool but the paint ball itself costs way too much for me. You could get a pack of 5000 BB's for bout RM 35. And airsoft is more real as in more military sim i guess. That's my opinion though. So plz dun flame me bout this
Bout the guns being spring action or not. NO !!!! Over my dead body. HAHA. Spring guns are realtively cheap and has a cheap feeling. Spring guns you have to cock it once shoot it once then cock it again. Where else gas (All my guns are gas). You just got to fill it with HFC22 or better known as green gas. There's red gas which gives out more power but could spoil your gun with frequent use. One gun magazine could hold like 20+ BBs and with one full fill of gas you could get probably 2 magazines easily. Most gas guns have blowback, something like recoil where the top half of the gun slides back. Hope that this get u guys interested. =) |

Jackygwh, what u r saying is true. HAHA. Some guns look hella real. If i'm not wrong that is Tokyo Marui Dessert Eagle .50 caliber. Its chrome but its plastic. So to some ppl althought the cosmetic might be nice but plastic won't do the gun justice. Some ppl buy guns to have them displayed. Well ppl's preference y'know. Where else my guns are all metal except for G36 whish is polymer in real life. I take my guns during skirmish so depends on that individual, more durability or more looks. But the TM dessert eagle is still a sweet gun though.
