Zomg. I downloaded ODEX PRE ROOTED N7000DXLC2 (Malaysia) (**NEW**) from the blog. If I flash using just that as PDA, will it work?

It only works on LP1... reflash to LP1 ICS repack (790mb) and then run again... after that you can flash to whatever ROM you like...

It's normal, you should see another message "dalvik cache clear/wipe" something like that

did u follow the instruction??
unzip the file til u see .tar.md5
go to download mode (Vol down+home button+power on) and release when it show samsung logo
plug ur phone using usb cable
load the file using PC Odin
tick auto reboot and reset time
and lastly press start and wait til ur phone finish install

ahh..ic..never try calagas themes..

u have 2 options
1)use cwm recovery wipe battery stats after fully charged to 100%
0r
2)install battery repair from google play

Followed to the dot. Odin had a red box saying failed.
Now my phone says "firmware upgrade encountered an issue. please select recovery mode in kies & try again."
It says that even after i restart.

Use betterbatterystats and check the partial wakelock and kernel wakelock, should be able to find the culprit... can post your betterbatterystats ss here, i try to interpret for you.. basically you need to leave the phone untouch for maybe 2 hours at least, best to leave it over night not charging, then run betterbatterystats, change display to "since unplugged" and "partial wakelock" / "kernel wakelock". If your area, the signal not strong like mine, the battery drain will be worst as well...

try to pull out the battery 1st..if u still encounter the same problem go to download mode again and flash using PC Odin the original rom..and pls follow the stap..

been long time since i read 1st page, the rooting guide in the first page is really easy to follow...

Okay, my phone is working again, but here's the weird part - nothing changed. I've still got all my old wallpapers, passwords etc.

yap..A.I do a great job..even teach step by step how to root..

see if u got supersu and cwm icon on ur menu..
