Guys, I need some help. I'm trying to root my device and it's not working. I tried the root links in the first page of this thread and it didn't work (even the alternate one). My kernel is lc2.

Near the bottom of the first post, updated 11 nov 2011. When that one didn't work, I used the alternate method (updated 19 feb 2012). On both, I enabled usb debugging and unknown sources, then connected the phone to my computer. The second one game me a notice saying "error rooting". sad.gif

If I use this, it means I'm flashing a new rom, so all my apps etc will be gone, right?

Zomg. I downloaded ODEX PRE ROOTED N7000DXLC2 (Malaysia) (**NEW**) from the blog. If I flash using just that as PDA, will it work?

Now my phone says "firmware upgrade encountered an issue. please select recovery mode in kies & try again."

A.I also recommended that file if u wanna root ur phone..

go to 1st page under post #6 got guide how to root ur phone and follow the instruction strictly..

Hotfile sucks. I've tried downloading the zip file three times already, and it disconnects halfway through. To make things worse, it won't allow me to resume once it disconnects. I'm going to try it when I get home next week, hope I have better luck with UniFi.
