My gnote had a problem now.. When im connect to the wifi,i cant use the internet, while im using iphone to connect to the same wifi it can use, make iphone to hotspot and connect my gnote also cant.. Why? Somebody can help me 3 days ago, my gnote got many error and i had full factory reset,all error gone, but now got wifi problem.. Damn!!! Sifu, please help me.

try to restart your modem/router first..

APN setting is automatically set or need to manually key in?sorry newbie here....

Done with restart modem, Already connected to the wifi but still got the same result..

more details on your phone firmware..

if rooted try LP6 modem on 1st page..

My phone still virgin using stock firmware, 2.3.6 N7000DXLC1..

APN is auto configured.

if you have data plan, backup your stuff and update your firmware to LC2 via update in settings..

or else, try to connect to other wifi network, to figure out which one the prob either ur phone or your modem setting..

fenin bout this android fon..haha..why eh its not automatically connect to packet data even though the APN setting is correct and the packet data is turn on once the hspda or edge signal gone?

I think most people has half-root problem if direct to Stunner ROM without ICS repack GB ROM.
Something must be different in the way he did it..

Sorry, my baseband version is N7000DXLC1 my kernel version is N7000DXLC2 im updated when im do factory reset. Oke i will try later to connect to other wifi. Because im very sure my modem dont have any problem because im connected to my iphone and laptop its all oke, just problem when im connecting to my gnote.. Its really make me sick!

Usual steps would be to go to settings, accounts & sync and check the sync to contact

it should be automatically connect if u tick packet data and it will show beside the receiver bar..H or H+ or 3G..do u use something like juice defender apps?and what carrier u use??maxis?
