Use your phone until the phone switches itself off (battery empty) 5. Switch on once more to make sure battery really is 0% (it will then immediately switch off once more) 6. Now, keep switched off (!), plug in charger & leave in charging until 100% 7. When battery is full, switch the phone on, unplug & check if the batter immediately drops 1 or 2 % 8. If battery immediately drops, plug in charger once more (while running phone) & let it charge completely 9. Once charging to 100% is done, don't plug off your charger, open your root explorer, at the top just click mount R/O, then it will set as mounted as R/O. 10.Ok, now open the 'Data' folder. 11.In the 'Data' folder, keep scrolling at the bottom and you will find 'System' Folder. 12.Open the 'System' folder and find 'batterystats.bin'. 13.Now you have to delete the 'batterystats.bin'. If you go to Settings/About Phone/Status/IMEI - you will see a blank ou stated UNKNOWN. You can try to recover it by either flashing a stock official rom ( full set PDA, PHONE, CSC) or try flash just the modem file. If these failed, your only choice is to send to Service Center to rebuild your rom The chance of losing the IMEI is very low but if you are a frequent flasher of roms, kernels, modem etc it might happen; these I called accidents. So better backup. Using the app I proposed just takes 1 SECOND. Restoring it another 1 second. Better be safe , preventive than sorry later. Since it is so easy, just do it. Accidents can happen without you knowing and no approval is needed from you to happen. When it happen, don't ask "WHY ME ?" Rooted_Stock_Odex_N7000DXLC2.tar.md5 (816.741mb) 8) Copy Rooted_Stock_Odex_N7000DXLC2.tar.md5 (816.741mb) to your Dekstop. 9) Download this Kernel CF-Root-SGN_XX_OXA_LC1-v5.3-CWM5.zip 10) Extract the zip and you will get another zip file. Extract the zip until you get zImage file (8.19mb). 11) Copy the zImage file to your phone Internal Storage. (Refer step c, d & e to connect phone to computer). 12) Exit any Kies software on your computer if you’ve installed it before. On your computer, open Task Manager>Processes Tab>End Process any running Kies.exe 13) Turn off completely your phone. Boot phone into DOWNLOAD mode = Press simultaneously Vol Down + Home+ Power buttons. Select Vol UP to have phone into DOWNLOADING…. mode. 14) On your computer, launch Odin3 v1.85.exe. You will see the Odin flash window on your computer. Connect phone to PC via USB cable. If phone is successfully detected, you will see a COM number in the yellow box at the left hand top side. 15) Select PDA and browse your Rooted_Stock_Odex_N7000DXLC2.tar.md5 on your Dekstop. Select it and press START. Don’t touch anything. The whole flash process will take under 2 mins to complete and your phone will auto reboot once you see PASS in Odin flash window. Congrats, your phone is now flashed with LC2 Rom and ROOTED. Verify it by checking the Superuser app in your phone. Detailed Steps to install CWM (ClockworkMod Recovery) to your Device : 1. Register your Gmail account on your phone. 2. Download and install MOBILE ODIN Pro from Google Market / Playstore. 3. If you cant purchase from Google Market / Playstore, follow step 4, 5 & 6. Boot phone into Recovery mode = Press simultaneously Vol Up + Home+ Power buttons until u see the ClockworkMod Recovery menu. 9) Use volume up and down to scroll up and down. To select, use Home Button. To go back, scroll to the bottom and hit Go Back. 10) Scroll down and select wipe data/factory reset with your Home button. Scroll down and select Yes. 11) Scroll down and select wipe cache partion with your Home button. Scroll down and select Yes. 12) Scroll down and select advanced your Home button. Scroll down and select Wipe Dalvik Cache. Scroll down and select Yes. 13) Select Go Back and select “Install zip from sdcard”. Scroll down and select choose zip from internal sdcard. General consensus everyone was happy and some even said it was a good move shifting over from iphone 4 I pass around my HTC One X for the users to test and compare I pass my unit for non ICS users to see the silky smoothness of the UI and apps drawers ( with 150 apps) of ICS rom Stunner 4.3 . I would say all were convinced and were ready to plunge to try. I remember there were at least 3 other users using the same rom as mine.
