Normally it will be available according to region unless for whatever reason they have the capability and volume to do worldwide launch (which is unlikely). If they go by region, then don't expect it to come so soon as we are not that high in the international priority list.

Samsung only put normal pentile SAMOLED (no PLUS). Damn Samsung.

Then I guess we will just have to wait for the latter model. Perhaps it is a blessing in disguise since the latter model might come with Exynos 5 anyway.

For me the design is not that big of an issue because the general design of samsung model has become more and more generic. The let down for me is the pentile screen.

PLUS and no-PLUS (Pentile) will have visual quality different. That is the 2nd reason I did not go for Note. The 1st reason is its humongous size.

Quite big. An for the screen of the same size and resolution, using PLUS will save you around 18% (if not mistaken) more energy. So your 2100mAh battery will last longer. Especially for a guy like me who use phone 99% of the time to surf internet while on the go. To really talk over the phone, I use my Nokia 1280.

The good old S2 is not a looker either, but its sales by tens of millions.

The 2100mAh battery is just my cup of tea. Bravo to Samsung in that regard.

I guess it is just a matter of personal preference as I like S3 design more. But all in all, I am not going to get myself a pentile screen in the mid of 2012. This is year 2012 already.

All the latest model that supposed to have HD screen did get pentile simply because the technology to make HD RGB is not there yet (economically speaking). When they mode from SAMOLED+ with 800X480 to HD, they need to revert back to pentile as they cannot yet make RGB version with such a high PPI. At least that is what I heard.

For me, I only have budget for ONE top of the line phone or I can just go with the 2nd best phone and get myself a china brand tablet with the money left. Of course I would like to have both top of the line Tab and Phone but that is what I can afford right now.

That is exactly my thinking.
