wanna ask, i've SSPN account last time when applying PTPTN but the account left there inactive for like 4 years now. I'm able to login just now and the account is still valid. However, the beneficiary name is my name though. Means that the money i deposit is just for my future study use?

QUOTE(virgoguy @ Jun 7 2017, 10:17 AM) Hi Just to check with you guys before I proceed to the bank to open SSPN account for my kids, I would like to get ready all the necessary forms and documents. Is this the correct form to fill? ( I am looking to open an ordinary SSPN account not the insurance type account) http://www.ptptn.gov.my/docs/Borang%20PTPT...N%20TERKINI.pdfWhat are the others documents required beside the kid's birth cert/ Mykid? Just bring mykid or birthcert

I need clarification on the tax incentive. Both my wife and I are working, and both of us have income that qualifies for tax. I just opened an SSPN account for my newborn daughter, with me as the depositor. If I deposit money in the SSPN account, am I the only one who can get the tax incentive? If my wife wants to get tax incentive, she needs to register as a depositor too?

hi all,
Is this doable?
1. On Nov/Dec 2017, I go deposit 6k SSPN for my child. (so that can get 6k tax relief in taxable year 2017). 2. On Jan 2018, I go close that SSPN account and take out all the 6k, and go invest something else.
Question: 1. Can I close the account and withdraw all the $$ in such short time frame? 2. If can do, will my 6k tax relief still valid?

Wonder if they'll continue the tax relief with the change of government? Should be, right?
