Mclaren: yup... but if u got for hotworks ae86, theres only 1 type of scale available, which is 1/24... if u prefer collecting 1/18 scale, the only selection is from jada toys, which the quality is poorer compared to hotworks... for hotworks, do expect in changing the parts... smile.gif

Jackygwh: 1/18 - SLK and 911 Turrbo, looks like hotworks focuses on 1/24 scale de... juz now i happen to find out tat hotworks gonna release the Mazda RX7 FC, but juz coming soon, dono when it release... oso 1/24 scale...

yea... make the comparison... tell us more wat u find... but do take note tat, hotworks provides real japanese plate number for the ae86 featured in the manga, while jada toys doesnt, they juz only put "Initial D" as number plate... for me, i personally feel tat the car looks authentic with real japanese number plates, though its a 1/24 scale (no choice mah... hehe)...

myke: RM459 for an aa model is too high lor, unless its made of carbon finishes or millennium limited edition, then nth to say le... maybe u try to go nikko atria ask mr. tommy there to check out whether they will restock the evo9 ralliart? if he comes out with a positive answer, its better to wait for the restock... according to aa, the model is still available... our frens here say it right, doesnt worth so much to purchase the evo9 ralliart wink.gif , wonder y the toycity tauke so not honest in doing business... doh.gif

carjack18: do they offer discount... i think its better to get some discount from them... nod.gif

Jackygwh: yea prce increases from time to time... i wonder how much will a die cast model cost for the next 3 years... RM500??? shocking.gif doh.gif

carjack18: gosh... wat company policy is tat? wat if u tell them using cash payment? last time i oso manage to less RM9 for my Super GT model, which is kinda less, but at least better than nth mah... biggrin.gif but for discounts, there is no receipt given, one skinny chinese dude working in Nikko MV seems kinda sucks... shakehead.gif

Dor43mon: superb 1/24 scale models are from hotworks price around RM160 and above... but choice is quite limited... other than tat, other normal quality are maisto n jada toys... im sure Toy City does sell quite a lot of 1/24 models...

notyboysn: so any plan for new models?

Mclaren: ah? i tot u juz purchase the model? so fast wana let go? shocking.gif

myke: yeap ur rite, they hq in hk... and hongkong oso is china, so if u see the underneath of the aa models, they will write "CRAFTED IN CHINA" instead of "MADE IN CHINA"...

Ka Ken: since u got the motogp safety car, i can suggest to get the motogp bikes (1/18 scale) from maisto to complete ur motogp collection... sure looks cool if u display all of them together, especially getting position before the race starts... thumbup.gif

Ka Ken: yeap... im sure the bikes are more easily found there... especially on the repsol honda, rossi's yamaha etc... complete ur motogp collection man! biggrin.gif

Jackygwh: i think the price should be affordable, but maisto has quite lots of packaging for their bikes ya? some are like a box, some got transparency so u can see through one.. some is semi assemble, some is full die cast model...

notyboysn: haha me oso lar... only can see cant buy liao... laugh.gif btw, last time u post ur new cabinet with ur die cast models in it de, i suddenly realized where is ur tokyo drift 350z??? unsure.gif

Added on June 12, 2007, 7:22 pmgood news is tat the die cast gp bikes from maisto cost RM30 each... quite lot of teams though... smile.gif

other than tat i found this 1/24 enzo from maisto assembly line, cost RM60... which is kinda expensive huh? gosh... doh.gif

Jackygwh: well i can say is quite not bad... juz only the window area looks a bit fake due to the lack of black trimings... since its self assemble like model kit, i think its quite an interesting collection le... but the price is a bit expensive lor... and its a 1/24 scale...

hey the cmc slr so detail huh? even got real leather interior and look at the engine!!! superb fine detail...!!! no wonder it cost RM800 lar, and impossible to get it COD here lar... cool2.gif

Ka Ken: laugh.gif haha im not forcing u to buy ah... laugh.gif but ur a motogp fan???
