yup, tats a very horrible thing to happen especially to we die cast collectors... kids, cousins, relatives, frens who know nth bout aa cars and think they juz toys will juz screw up everything... doh.gif so one of the best way is to place ur die cast inside a cabinet, preferably with glass door cover so tat u can add steel locks to the door... then no one wil manage to put disasters on the models...

haha.... yea this is kinda expensive hobby... but the outcome is satisfying when u display them on the cabinet and everytime u look at these models, u feel satisfying...

notyboysn: hotworks quality is amazing... juz only it has no window glasses nia... coz we need to open up the parts and change/modify it... other than tat, u can juz feel tat its as similar as a real car... the interesting features of hotworks compared to others is tat it can change/adjust parts... and the price is oso cheaper compared to aa cars... im oso interested in the slk too, look like its juz recently released... wat color u interested in the slk model? i love the black brabus slk, melts me when i saw it... drool.gif

carjack18: well it will cost quite high... last time i bought my rx-8 onliine from aa, the bank charge me some tax... the delivery cost oso included... other than tat, when u collect ur model at the poslaju there u still have to pay extra custom tax... overall a model tat originally cost RM2XX might increase to RM3XX... but the service is quite efficient... tats from aa website...

well, from wat u see at the photos, wat do u think then? both have high quality in making these models, but i still think aa still gain the most as there are some parts tat aa manages to make while hotworks cant such as the engine, grill net and disc brake... price and features are the differences betwen these 2 makers...

Jackygwh: worth is worth le, but u have to spend few hours on modifying this car and patience is very important, as u might encounter problems when dealing with how to open this part and that part... other than tat, remember where to keep the screws! coz these little tiny screws get disappeared easily, so have to place them in somewhere which is safe...

the parts come with the car de... so there are two boxes... hotworks 1/18 scale are all like tat de...

i got this model from satok there ah... its a special order request... actually i oso don have confident can get it onot de... then the tauke there say got chance to get this model then finally the model arrived so i got it lor... good to hear is tat kch here so far only got 1 unit nia... biggrin.gif

bearbear: finally saw ur shots... nice one! suddenly feel this thread is alive with shots! rclxms.gif

notyboysn: haha i not print money lar... coz after this model i oso quite pokai liao... so tats y i say need to rest for few months lor... juz now watch How Do They Do It, prinitng money in australia is cool le... those aussie dollars are in plastic yo... brilliant!

overall hotworks has the quality, ranks with minichamps i can say... however if u look closely u will find few parts tat y it lose to aa... tats how u much get for how much u pay kua... blush.gif

myke: thanks... if ur in KL, y don u try ur luck at bts... last time i oso able to get the 1/18 911 turbo from hotworks there too... but i forgot the shop name le... located quite upstairs de, higher than the kyosho shop de... or i heard Eneos shop oso got sell hotworks le... i only manage to find Eneos shop at 1 Utama last time...

Cheesenium: well if ur in kch, there are 3 places to get hotworks... one is at tun jugah callled Speed Nikko, then Hock Lee Centre got a shop called Pelangi, then Satok Shopping Centre oso got a hobby shop known as Game Station...
